Forested planet in Destiny
I think it'd be really awesome if there was a destination in Destiny that was an actual forest or a thick jungle. It'd be very interesting to look at and explore. Either that or a snowy planet or perhaps another destination on Earth that is in the high mountains.
Bump if you think this would be cool.
Edit 1: I did see the pre-launch gameplay videos which seemed to show a lot of cut areas in the game. I'm sure we'll see these later in DLC, hopefully anyways. I really hope they make that Europa concept art into an actual location though because it looks awesome.
Edit 2: Star Wars isn't the only Science Fiction franchise to have forest and snow planets. Lol. Just saying. Venus doesn't count as "thick jungle" because there's actually hardly any trees in the explorable areas.

I completely agree with this idea and have always thought it'd be awesome to explore the city.

Here is the problem with this. Bungie is lazy. Too much extra work. If they do it, it'll just be a a reskined map or a multilayer map with a little bit more to it. Not a lot though. Too much work for anything new.

Edit 3 sounds a lot like the game Jak 3. Awesome game, would love to see something like that type of environment within maybe The Last City or something.

[i]Rasputin is running out of fuel. The nuclear cocktails he enjoys in the shore are running short and after the collapse much if the uranium locations were lost to us. However, there is a forest in Germany with possibly untapped potential. The Russians called it the Tunguska incident, the cryptarchy believes that it may provide some radioactive materials. Along with our interest the fallen, hive and the vex seem 'vaguely' interested. Either way looks like we are heading outside the Cosmodrome.[/i] Both a dense forest and winter biome with some Vex on Earth... Anyone else want a piece?

I've even heard mention of a tram in the tower over the intercom, something like "The tram to the tower base will be departing in 5 minutes." Would be cool to go down there and do quests/activities and have reputation with the city. In fact, it'd be [b][i]really[/i][/b] cool if we somehow had a collective reputation with the city (what do they think of us), although this would be really hard to manipulate with so many players (I.e. if we have a bad reputation with the city, what would you do? Convince the ENTIRE community to do better? lol). I've also always wanted a house or apartment in the city where you can invite friends and hang up your gear. Put Fatebringer on the wall! Have trophies or collectibles that mark your achievements (date acquired ect).

7 RespuestasA forest area would be nice. Even better than that would be if weather was a thing (I know it rains on Venus but only barely). It'd be awesome if when you logged in one day you fly to the tower and see that it's covered in snow. Head out to patrol to see that it's barely recognizable because the snow has covered the pathways. Reduced visibility, ect. A thunderstorm would be awesome, too. :-)

Yes and have an actual big explorable area Like get all the way up in the canopy Have some sweet zip lines across chasms or have some vines you can swing across with Maybe even introduce some new alien enemies maybe have them Amazonian themed
