I hate matchmaking into a Strike just to have people completely run by 90% of the enemies, especially when there's a Dinkle Door immediately after that section. You're rushing just to wait basically, so what's the point?
What fun is it just to rush through Strikes when the fun is supposed to be in eliminating the enemies and getting tons of glimmer?
-
I always rush Nexus after the servitors.
-
I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain. I gotta rush thru this strike! Lol
-
1 RespuestaI can understand where you are coming from, generally I speed run the strikes because I'm trying to get the rep when leveling a character or helping another level up. It's case by case really.
-
I generally wait and see If they rush off on their sparrows..I just follow if they do
-
Meh, it depends. Many are just doing it for marks or rep. Killing minions does nothing once your character is maxed. It's be better to just run nightfall over and over, glimmer from those is insanely high.
-
5 Respuestasto all you guys who run it, please don't commit suicide to pull us forward, I really get tired of reading "we can solo these" but commit suicide to pull us up, example of this last night, a random n I just killed the 2 knights outside Phogoths door, just to have our 3rd kill himself with a gally. If you run you better be prepared to do it yourself or all this solo talk is hot air, the same stuff that comes out your rear end. Not against you guys running it, just don't commit suicide cause you can't solo it.

2 RespuestasGhost keeps telling me I should hurry up to save the world, so I run.
-
If I wanted to kill patrol mobs, I would go to patrol. I'm there for the marks or the rep.
-
I don't think it's even that much faster to speed run it. If you have a team that stays together you crush everything along the way. If you have any joy left for the game it's not that boring to kill everything. In the end I think it's worth killing everything to get more drops. But if one dude decides he is going to speed run it, then it throws everything off, and everyone else might as do it as well. I stick with my team, and keep the option open for them to choose.
-
2 RespuestasThe only part I always run through is right after "you think they'd mind if we took their pikes? "
-
I speed run strikes because the repeated endgame reward is greater than taking the extra 3 minutes per strike to maybe get another engram. I always have 2500 glimmer and even if at some point I don't (example: iron banner week) I still get tons of glimmer if I activate the glimmer bonus material I need at the beginning of the strike.
-
The darkness is upon us, that's why. WTF do we care about low level mob trash when there's bosses to kill? Seriously though - it's because everyone has played the strikes ONE JILLION TIMES. At this point they're rushing to the end for the marks, rep, and the pull on the RNG slot machine.
-
1 RespuestaI kill everything along the way and still rush the strikes it's not that hard I just don't want them dragging on when I've done them hundreds of times.
-
Bad juju bounty
-
There was a c&c video where the guy killed all enemies in roc strikes for one hour and them ran through and speed ran for an hour. The amount of legendary and exotic rewards was much higher for killing all enemies...
-
1 RespuestaI run strikes for one of three reasons: - Bounties - Nightfalls - Weekly Heroics I typically have 23,000 to 25,000 glimmer on hand at any point. Farming serves no purpose for me. That's why I'm "that guy" who blasts through strikes like a squirrel hopped up on espresso.
-
Because strikes aren't fun anymore.
-
Because I've played the mission 1000 times all damn ready
-
I've beaten each strike over 100 times by now. If I'm doing a strike it's not for fun, but instead it's probably for a bounty. Truth is they aren't fun anymore and speed running it is just a way to get it over with. If your new then it's fine if you enjoy the strikes, but for the more seasoned players strikes aren't fun anymore
-
5 RespuestasI enjoy speed runs. Why. Because I'm not a pussy
-
I'm not going to waste my time with trash mobs. I'm running because i want my faction rep and my blue engram. If you really want glimmer there is PLENTY of other ways to obtain it. Also there really is no more joy in running strikes. There is like a total of six on Xbox.
-
3 RespuestasGlimmer is useless gtfo
-
I speed run specific strikes because I hate doing them. I rush through Cerberus Vae III (because I've done it 10x more than any other strike), Nexus (I can run it in 5 minutes) and Archon Priest
-
To get my bounties done quickly. Never on roc tho. Like yesterday my bounty was to complete nexus strike so I rushed through just to get it done. I don't have all day for bounties. Quicker I get bounties done the more time I have to help people on raids.
-
If I need to rush a strike I launch normal Nexus. Anyone who rushes through ROC strikes and stuff just wants the loot at the end probably. Whenever I rush ROC strikes it's because I joined for the possibility of legendary/exotic drops at the end. I normally don't rush anything other than Nexus on normal though and it's almost always for a bounty that I just want to be done with.

Editado por Pyro 509: 3/14/2015 5:29:56 PMI got paired with a couple doing this and they reported me for afk supposedly (sent me a message saying they did) because I stayed behind and killed literally everything and just had fun with it. After I got the message the stat screen popped up with them @ less than 30 kills each and me well over 100 haha
