I hate matchmaking into a Strike just to have people completely run by 90% of the enemies, especially when there's a Dinkle Door immediately after that section. You're rushing just to wait basically, so what's the point?
What fun is it just to rush through Strikes when the fun is supposed to be in eliminating the enemies and getting tons of glimmer?

ROC enemies drop a lot of blues anyhow. Killing a bunch can double your haul. If that's your goal. Also heavy ammo drops keep from burning through synths As far as rep goes, bounties are more efficient imo
-
I usually wait and see what the others do first and follow suit. I will stop and kill some enemies, especially if I need heavy ammo.
-
A lot of people do strikes for mark and rep farming, not to mention exotic bounties
-
I wouldn't say that's the point. Obviously the game is based around doing things as often as possible according to the random loot system. I don't see what the big problem is, it is there game they are wasting.

When your doing the 25 strikes bounty. Feels like forever

It is a fault of game design in a way. Most people will always opt for the easiest and fastest way to get what they want. In this case what they want is not to enjoy the game for what it is, but they want the reward or the bounty they have. If there are certain enemies that are not dangerous enough to kill you if try to run past and you get no penalty for doing so, people will inevitably skip as much as they can. Faster completion equals more chances at rewards. So either people have a mission that forces them to do something they might not really want to do, or they are just in for the reward at the end. The game is designed like this and people simply behave accordingly. If they removed rewards at the end of activities, which I think they should, and remove bounties that make you play the game a certain way, then this behaviour would stop. That being said, I also do that sometimes depending on my mood and the mission I currently follow. But I understand that it can be frustrating if you try to play the game in a relaxed fashion for fun.

If it's a base-level strike: I'm trying to complete a bounty. And at Level 30, it's stupidly easy to solo the whole thing. You can take as long as you want to kill mobs outside the darkness zone, but I'd rather finish and move on to something more fun. If it's a weekly: As above (except for strange coins instead of bounties, and minus the soloing thing), plus a lower chance to die.
Dinkle Door
Lmao

1 RespuestaI will play either way, I wait on the other 2 to see what they are doing if they speed off I will catch up. If they go slow I wait for them.
-
I'm not playing to enjoy the strike I'm playing to farm so why make it take as long as possible
-
No one wants to do the same strike over and over again especially if you're a day one player. Loot from mobs is random. Finishing a strike is 100% loot every time. If I want glimmer I could easily farm it novabombing cabal on my Warlock. Easy 25k an hour.
-
Strikes are boring, I'm rep or mark farming. If I need glimmer I can spend 20 minutes in exclusion zone
-
Been here since day one. Strikes simply aren't fun anymore period.
-
Over the last few days, I've been hoping to get strange coins from the loot table (To buy Red Death), so I've been speed running through strikes.
-
They trying to finish an exotic bounty? Trying to finish a regular bounty? Trying to raise rep real quick because vanguard rep is about to level? They only like killing bosses? Trying to make you leave, so they can solo it? They didn't want to be matched with someone in the first place?
-
Faster awards
-
From my perspective, most people do strikes just for the engrams at the end and a chance at a legendary or exotic. Or just for marks, either way even if you did sit down and kill all the enemies it takes the same amount of time so I see both sides
-
People don't always want to take 30 minutes for one strike if they have to grind for say 25 strikes for the bad juju.
-
So let me get this straight. You want two other people to stop and play how you want to play? So you think others need to play destiny how you do? How old are you?
-
4 RespuestasWorst is the start of Valus strike, people speed run to the generals and i'm still stuck outside fighting my way through the ads that spawn ! I started pretending to start the mission now, its amusing when they can't get in the door and come back all angry.
-
Editado por ThatAmazingIdea: 3/14/2015 9:39:47 PMThe xp earned from killing enemies is pathetic and the drop rate of legendary engrams is also pathetic. The end rewards are where it's at.

We do shotgun strikes

I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I'm -blam!-ing retarded but I don't care, I'm beautiful. I'm having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me "Apache" and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can't accept me you're a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding.
