House of wolves is taking too long.
I have 3 lv32 character, almost flawless pvp and pve setups (for me), most exotics, most raid guns (but Necrocasm). Is there something else to do, or should I just prepare my factions to near rank up, and put down the game?

It runs precisely like this: Release HoW during March and watch an already bored and increasingly discontented player base become even more bored and discontented, burning through the minimal content just as quickly as they did TDB, with an unacceptable/risky seven month gap until they start pushing Comet in September. or Wait and release a chunk of already largely paid-for DLC in April/June, trusting that irritated players who already spent the money on this stuff will dutifully come back then, with only 3 months until they push Comet and restart the game, along with a renewed DLC cycle at the end of the year. This is the reason for the delay. It’s not a mystery and it’s not difficult to understand. It’s called business – more properly a ‘business model’. Of course, the people who will get shafted here are the players. Doubly so the players who think Bungie are delaying things to make improvements. They’re going to be just as disappointed as fundamentalist Xian’s waiting for Jesus to come back. HoW will be just the same stale piss, in a different bottle, as TDB. A thin gobbet of content that covers a day or so, stretched over weeks/months due to RNG, new currencies and new light-levels. It’s a neat gimmick by soulless corporate scumbags, who only consider players to be cattle waiting to become tasty cheeseburgers and steaks. If you’re okay with this, have at it. Otherwise get the f*ck out now as it isn't going to get better, only worse. And it’s not going to stop for the next ten years. Personally I don’t want to be 54yrs old and still giving money to this crowd of shitheels. As always, it obviously remains your choice, no matter what. Best Wishes

No matter how much this sounds like sarcasm, I promise you it's not. Find a group of people, obviously until you hit 6. If they're not 32 or they don't have certain things they want/need from either of the existing raids, run them through it, help them get there. If you already have those six people, and they're already at 32, take the time to practice and refine your tactics, get your communication down, and make sure there is a level of understanding between you and your teammates. I know it seems tedious, and there are better things to do, but who knows? You and that team might be the first to beat the HoW's raid.

It is. All I have to do now is upgrade exotics. Really want a new raid and other exotics. :(

House of wolves raid was already in the game from the get go. All their doing is making sure we can't cheese this raid. Unfortunately it won't be available to actually play until the end of April.

I'm hoping that bungie is using this time to fine tune the raid so it won't have to be patched and screw more stuff up.

I have 3 32s. Only exotic I was chasing was Gjallarhorn...got that. Got all raid weapons all maxed. Going to max my final characters vanguard marks then have 30 5000xp bountys set up then stop playing until how
