Editado por Duardo: 1/15/2013 5:53:29 PMIt's a huge upgrade! I would love to have an option for pages, though, as scrolling (especially when you have hundreds of pages) gets tiresome. I know group messaging seems impossible, but I have a hint of an idea. What if a thread is created in a group but there's an option to "Notify all group members" (perhaps an option reserved for the Admin only?) where members of that group are actually notified of that thread, rather than messaged. That way the messaging system and Bungie's servers aren't affected. Perhaps this deserves it's own topic? #feedback

2 RespuestasI dig it, though I think it'd be nice to have a spot on the profile page where I can click messages and have a list similar to the old school one just for deletion purposes and previewing. Right now it feels a bit annoying having to scroll through all of one's messages in order to delete them all. I happen to have a lot of old messages that carried over and they don't all appear on the list unless I continually refresh it ( but thank you for carrying them over! I have a few I've saved for nostalgia rides!)

Editado por ZER0COOL: 1/15/2013 7:44:29 PMI'm using iOS. When I'm typing my message the screen will randomly shift to the left side of the screen and you can't see what you are typing. If you zoom out, click back into the message field, and continue typing it will do the same thing. Seems to fix itself if I refresh the page and start typing the message again. Edit - Also after you get a big conversation going and enter a message/reply the submit button will sometimes move below the bar at the bottom of the screen on iOS. Edit 2 - It's all over the place when trying to reply to a group message. It zooms out by itself and jump around the screen constantly when typing. Also still having force close issues when typing or clicking people's usernames.

I didn't even know we had this.

Keep it. When you guys release the new game, the usefulness of it will skyrocket.

4 RespuestasEditado por Spartan Ken 15: 1/13/2013 1:51:49 PMI kind of wish the conversations would start over each time you engage in a new one, the current shows all posts from the beginning of time and it is confusing. I preferred the old PM system in that it more easily organized all the messages. I think what should be done is keep the conversation tab but also under profile have a separate archiving tab that keeps a record of all conversations and messages. Maybe also have an "end conversation" button so everyone knows the conversation is over and a new one can begin.

I think PMing is a side feature of Bnet and when it is used most people are only doing 1 on 1 conversations. Still, a nice feature to have. I think it extends further the usability of Bnet.

Really like the upgrade. Not only is it more visual pleasing, but it's much more accessible and also shows you past conversation history which the old system sorely needed. Only criticism on the messaging system is a minor one. From using facebook and other sites, I've been hitting enter to attempt to send messages, and instead it's skipping a line to start a new paragraph. I guess the layout and past experience with similar systems has my brain treating it more like an IM system than the traditional PM system. Truth is I guess it can function as both.

Editado por Beewaxers: 1/13/2013 3:14:53 PMReally neat message system, so much better. Seeing some of my drunken moron pms wasn't fun, but seeing old convos with Igni folks and PMs with BB made me shed a little e-tear.

The ability to view sent messages, the change from individual message view to conversation view, and being able to have a group conversation with up to 7 other users are great improvements to the private messaging system. I can't wait until the updated version of Bungie mobile is released; I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Thanks! :-)

1 RespuestaSo if I leave the conversation, will the other users be notified? Or will people keep rambling and think that I'm ignoring them?
-
I never message anyone these days, adding multiple recipients is a great idea though.
-
I don't message much, so I didn't even know you could do this. It just keeps on getting better and better.

Editado por goldhawk: 1/13/2013 1:54:23 PMLooks good, I do recall many times when I was doing Group stuff in the past that being able to message everyone in one go would have been very useful, has that functionality been realized in bungie.next?
-
Haven't used it yet.

Editado por Beewaxers: 1/13/2013 1:46:16 PMWas this a not so subtle hint to start pounding on it? ey ey Captain

Editado por Anroll: 1/13/2013 7:40:45 AMWell, i'm not popular enough to use it. Regarding messages, i think i miss the way i read my messages in my profile, will that come back?
-
I just found out about this feature :p
-
It's a tiny little bit buggy - notifs for it don't disappear sometimes, even after you've read and replied to the message. Otherwise, it's a neat feature.
-
2 RespuestasOnce I saw that I could enter multiple people, I messaged a bunch of the other Ninja's at once. Pretty neat. Don't really have any complaints about it minus the one you mentioned...
-
Love it
-
Fix yer shit, Bungie! Oh, wait. Hey, stosh.
-
Never used it. I have a group for that.
