If you could redesign the Tower?
If you could redesign the Tower in anyway to improve it, how would you? For me, I would add an area at the base of the tower like the picture I've included. I'm guessing Bungie was going to add a large area before at the foot of the Tower but never did.
Edit: Didn't think my thread would get this popular. Nice to hear people got some new ideas for the Tower.
Edit 2: I never expected that many comments on this thread. Guess I did good.

I would have an area under the hanger where you could cutomise your ship like add a mini vault or a vanguard vendor machine so that when your In orbit you can go into the menus and go across to a ship tab then either go in your vault or a postmaster option.

I'd have a special room where every weapon and armor piece in your vault is displayed on gun racks and armor stands. Plus souvenirs from all the completed missions and bosses you've completed/killed. That would make the tower more of a home for the guardians like it's intended to be. Now it basically feels like a rest stop on some interplanetary highway.

I wouldn't make it a tower but rather a short building with a larger footprint like american strip malls. build outward not upward

5 RespuestasRooms.. Each guardian gets a small room. 1. You find or win trinkets / pictures / art to decorate with 2. Factions give you stuff for it 3. You have a revolving gun rack 4. Your grimoire is accessible via an ancient book 5. Your vault is in here - chest for consumables - chest for ammo packs / telemetry - rack for guns 6. A rack to hold armor (iron banner stuff while IB not on )

1 RespuestaI would have: An actual docking bay where it's shaped in a ring shape where everyone your games ships are displayed with engine crew working on them if you wanted to change ship you would simply go to a console near your ship and digitalise it The centre on the ring would have an elevator back up to the courtyard The courtyard would be massive with huge statues running parallel to each other in two lines, each statue would be of the most famous/legendary guardians, each statue would have a passage from them in the middle is huge statue with 3 guardians, one of each class, beneath this is the postmaster is An armoury located just below the courtyard, filled with those massive guns from that crucible map facing outward, pieces of fallen tech like walker cannons and tech from the cabal being studied, the armoury itself is controlled by the Titans On the courtyard level there are doors with special banners hanging above, the room in here is where your can get your bounties, here the walls have banners from the darkness like the fallen and cabal stuff, the walls are filled with trophies like heads and weapons of enemies, this area is controlled by the hunters Another door marked with runes and symbols scratched into its frame is where a massive archive is, here you can read about the golden age, the darkness and other stuff, here is where you can get shaders, class items, decrypt your engrams, and create new shaders and class items, this is attended to by the warlocks Above the courtyard is a glass room overlooking everything, this is where the speaker stays, with a long table with his seat before the speaker, the rest of the seats is for when the vanguard come together An elevator in the courtyard will take you down to the base of the tower, here is where the crucible is, here you pick one of two teams, here is where you prep for matches before departing for them, here is also where you can watch matches live Of course there are many other doors but there each for events like iron banner Well there just ideas

The Tower needs to be a lot bigger with an armory room, lounge room, a room where you can show off your exotic collections infront of people or even your very own room with trophies on the wall that show off the actual trophies you earned. Also as of right now the Tower is a ghost Towne it needs -blam!-ing text chat or a room that supports text chat I want to text random realtime in the game wtf plz learn from final fantasy 14

I would open up the lower portion of the hanger, and have it function as a impromptu duel arena. Where up to six guardians could enter and PvP until they got bored. No rewards No reputation Just open PvP for other guardians in the tower to watch and enjoy.
