[FIX DEPLOYED] Are you not able to see your Xbox characters on the site or app? Tell me about it here.

We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile. Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information. If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info [url=http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution]here[/url]. You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue. [u]This thread's purpose is for me to gather information in order to diagnose what is wrong. [/u] This thread is not about whether your character shows up as just a silhouette.   • Please help. I've tried everything this is my only Microsoft account I've tried unlinking and relinking I've deleted the app and tried again I'm on ios I've even tried it in a browser but yet it still doesn't work what do I do? Can I talk to Microsoft about getting this fixed?

  • I've logged off and on again because my accounts show up but yet I can't see my character visually like other phones do is It because it's a iPhone or there just a problem I'm noticing

    EDIT: After signing out and re-signing in to the mobile app 2 times, it's started working. Hi! So I've followed all the steps you've listed, but nothing is showing up in my mobile app. I've linked my Xbone account to no avail. Sorry, to answer your questions: 1. No, it has never worked. 2. I believe it is, yes. 3. I read and followed everything, even delinking my MS account (used my FB) and relinking) 4. Yes, I am 99% certain this is my only MS/Bungie account 5. XBox One 6. No, I shouldn't be, but I do see that my mobile device is linked--and I am on my PC at the moment, with my Xbox turned off.

  • so I opened the bungie app today and it asked me to sign in so I did so with my microsoft account and it seems it created a new profile and said this account hasn't played destiny yet how do I link it back to my original bungie account again?

  • Update: Okay so I unlinked my mobile devices, signed out of the website, rebooted every device, and logged back in. Now it works.

        • I changed my microsoft alias, so when I signed in here with my new email it drug out a new profile for me, and linked my Gt. But now I can't change clans, as my old profile is linked to one but not my Gt, so for some wierd reason I am linked to the same clan in-game, but I can't see or change it on my current profile!!

I only get a silhouette.

              Never really been a problem before but I can't see mine or other peoples characters it's been going for a couple days now, and I really need to see my characters I've tried logging in and out no luck it just gives me the tap to retry and it never works so please can you help thx

              First time signing in to try to use the companion on pc or phone, but not linking right. It says I'm linked, using the only microsoft account I have, but nothing is displaying. No gamertag linkage. Tried all of the steps - logging in and out, linking and unlinking, nothing worked. Xbox One. You said microsoft support was able to help?

            • i can login no problem with my ps3 account, i bought an xbox one and now my companion doesnt show my new character... it shows my game tag but doesnt let me view grimoirs, legend or anything whatsoever. i would like to know how to get this resolved asap. Thanks for your time

            • This is the first time I've created an account with this linked microsoft account. However, my husband has his and his is working just fine, no problems there. So why is it only me? and yes I've confirmed this is my Xbox account, and yes I've tried to sign in and out, and that's not working either. my gamertag is being used on Xbox 360

              • Mine fixed itself, I saw that I was still logged into bungie with my tablet so I logged out then back in again and now it works

              • 1. Yes, this was never an issue before and the companion app always showed my characters and items etc. 2. No, I have had an account for several years. 3. Yes, the help article did not address the issue. 4. Yes, verified. 5. Xbox One In the last few days the companion app on my iPhone 4s stopped working and would not display any of my characters or items or grimoires, etc. The problem has persisted for a few days now, and signing out and signing in on both xbox and this site haven't updated the issue. Please advise.

                  • The app tells me I don't have a gamer tag when I sign in with my Microsoft account. I contacted Microsoft and they tell me my account is OK.
