You think strike afks are bad now? Wait til you have people farming for exotics so they can SELL them online. No trading keeps the game from having a black market... And the game is better that way. The only possible trading option I would even be remotely in favor of would be an in raid trading. One that allowed for a drop to be traded within one minute of the drop, and only to a player that was in the raid at the time of the kill. Even this lends itself to a market, but due to RNG and rarity of drops, it wouldn't be as dramatic of an impact as an open trading system would. Next thing you know, people are selling Strange Coins, Motes of Light and Mats online for cash in addition to Exotics and Raid Gear. People cry enough about Xur's "Wellfare Exotics"... "Earned not Xurned" next would be "Played not paid". There is just not enough positive that could come from this to outdo the negative that would come from it.
