Open trades like this, even regulated with restrictions, will open it up to real world trading for money. While it would likely not affect me, companies are typically against this so not likely to happen. Rather I think it's fair to have a fireteam trade option at the summary screen. Playing with a friend that wants hard light and it drops for me, I'd gladly trade it for his 10 energies. Doesn't break RNG and no way to do a real world money trade for a random player looking for a certain weapon.
