This Loot System is Shenanigans
I was able to pick up 5 purple engrams in the last 2 days just playing patrol on various planets. Took them all to the Cryptarch thinking "this time it'll be different, this time I'm going to get a piece of gear I can use." I -blam!-ing kid you not, 4 of the 5 engrams turn into shards/energies and the last one turns into the helmet I already had. 5 purple engrams and they all turned to shit. It's really frustrating when the drop rate for purples is so low and the ones you get rarely turn into anything worthwhile. Are you all experiencing the same thing when finding purple engrams?

2 RespuestasWhen HOW dropped part of the update was that all legendary engrams will always decrypt to a legendary item only. The same thing happened to many players before the update. Me as well. Frustrating! But ever since, every purple engram has decrypted to a legendary item (not a good one) but a legendary. Read up on the it.

3 RespuestasWhat's even worse is now that house of wolves dropped they fixed the purples turning into shards and energies and gave us garbage loot. The house of wolves weapon and gear are trash. I want my vanilla and dark below stuff back that I had to dismantle to make room for this crap!

I ran VoG hard on two characers and was able to pull the following: The Last Word (Gorgon chest) Fatebringer (Templar) Praedyth's Revenge x2 (Templar) Atheon's Epilogue (Atheon) Hezen Vengeance (Atheon) Corrective Measures (Atheon) And a ship No armor, though. All this after finishing the Thorn bounty Best RNG day by far since I bought this game last October.

If we had a player-to-player trading system in this game the loot system would be absolutely perfect, in fact I think that is the only thing wrong with the RNG loot system in this game

6 RespuestasAll the people that complain about the RNG in Destiny never played Borderlands 2. Imagine having to solo Atheon 200+ times to get the Vex. And even when you do get it, it could have a really crappy roll of perks and less damage levels. The drop rates for exotics in that game "without" cheesing it are 10X worse than Destiny. Gamers today just want instant gratification with little effort.
