vanity, VANITY, all is vanity... please?
I believe you guys are doing a great job with the game. I can't wait to see what additions you plan to bring to the table in our future, but would like to make a suggestion... VANITY SLOTS.
One thing I wish we could have is a little more personalization.
As I played through my second character, I began to "stop and smell the roses". I began seeing so many styles of gear that I wished I could keep due to aesthetics alone. There seems to be so much design lost due to antiquated low level gear that it seems to take away from the beauty of the game if everyone is wearing the same "raid" look.
Please consider a slot on our gear that could be for looks alone.
A few shaders and a cool looking lvl 2 helmet might help solve some of the monotony that others have been complaining about.

1 RespuestaI agree so much! But, I have made my hunter, that is a 32, look a bit different. I wear Symbiote helmet and raid gear, then I use the shader bloodpact and wear the old ghost angel cloak. Honestly I think that it looks pretty good. So the point that I am getting at is try shaders that other players are not using, the difference can be amazing...

1 RespuestaYeah, they fell flat on being able to customize your looks. You can, if you want your rank to suffer because of it. You want rank 32? Be prepared to look exactly like every other 32 out there.

1 RespuestaI had similar thoughts. Like once you reach a light level it is permanent regardless of the gear you used to get and upgrade to get there. Personalization and play style are big in this type of game.

3 RespuestasWhile I completely want this system I imagine there might be only one, slight problem. People can tell how other characters are going to preform based off their exotics. Now, it's not always obvious which one their sporting, sometimes it is, sometimes your dead before you even know who hit you, but I do see this as a complaint if a vanity system does come to pass. Should this complaint be an actual concern, I imagine a compromise, such as vanity slots can't override an Exotic. Second thing they should do, make more exotics change colour by shaders.
