To all you metal heads
Am I the only one that gets beyond pissed off when someone tells me that I listen to devil worshippers and that no one can understand what they are saying because it's all just "screaming"? It's absolutely ridiculous how ignorant some people can be. I was driving with my drivers Ed teacher yesterday and I heard Metallica come on. So I go, "hey this is my jam right here!" And what my teacher does is completely shut off the radio and tell me that that was satan's cabinet music. This royally annoyed me. I do understand that there may be a band out there of the metal genre that might worship the devil, but I don't know. Although I listen to Pantera, Slipknot, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, etc., I do not for one second believe that any of them influence worshipping the devil. Comment down below your opinion on people like that.

The only metal that could be classified as satanic is black metal. And even then I ask myself is this just a gimmick. Remember Gwar (not black metal but thrash) was a bunch of college kids when they started the band. They were just playing around with their stage antics.

At that point I don't even consider it music. Lyrics are supposed to have some kind of meaning, not screaming about how your parents wouldn't buy you cinnamon toast crunch when you were a kid and acting like they tortured you.

1 RespuestaI did vocals in my old band and when I explained what we sounded like immediately people were like "OH you mean that Satan worshiping stuff?" Or "How can you like this? You can't even understand what they are saying." Forever a struggle to explain that I listen to music with heart and meaning, not just cookie cutter producer made bullshit. That is all.

4 RespuestasI used to listen to stuff like ptv bear tooth rise against etc. Then I got into ScHoolboy Q and MGK. So I understand when you first listen to it, it sounds like shit and Satan speak but once you start to actually listen to it. Its good. I never judge people for the music they listen to or make but I hate country can't stand that "Drinking a beer in my Chevy" shit. That's just my opinion tho.

I personally am not a fan of most metal music but I don't care what people listen to. It's not bad music no music is no bad music if you like that listen to it. It's not "devil music" it's just a different genre
