I disagree. It's an obvious act of greed from developers who earn millions anyways.

I'm arguing that while he's paid more than a fair number of us and isn't in the realm of bankruptcy, he's not invincible and that other developers and directors not as rich as him have gone down the drain with used games being a significant factor.

Well, can't they make deals with used game sellers like Gamestops to gain some percentage of the prophet or something?

For a while there were rumors that there were talks between big name publishers/developers and Gamestop over getting Gamestop to throw part of the used game sales at them if they agreed to drop Online Passes.

Used game sales have benefits too though People who don't have the money to spend 50 quid on a new game still have the opportunity to be introduced to a franchise which they could become a fan of and contribute money to future installments

If they don't have money to buy new now, what makes you think that they are going to buy new in the future?

Maybe if they have confidence in a franchise they'll be more willing to spend larger amounts of money
