i do understand that this is probably a common excuse for actual cheaters so i know how it sounds. he literally plays pvp all the time. he isnt cheating, he just got really good at it over the years. honestly, if he was cheating then i wouldn't have any sympathy for him at all. it would be his own stupidity to do that. i am only trying to help him because i know he is playing legit.

You even said it yourself. He appealed the restriction and the restriction was upheld. That alone confirms he was cheating.

They have on their website that restrictions typically just need to be waited out. That's what they told him 2 months ago. They just said that he needs to wait it out and go from there, but days after his suspension ended he was suspended again for the same "connectivity issues". Cheating bans aren't a connectivity pvp suspension. As far as i'm aware more than 3 bans permanently disables your account. He is just suspended rn. I linked to you a video that he uploaded to his youtube. Click on his channel and see for yourself if he's cheating or not. he plays nothing but pvp, he is just good at it. I hate cheaters too bud, I just hate to see someone I know isnt cheating get put in that same category.

They'll keep getting 2 month restrictions until they fix whatever issue it is that Bungie keeps seeing

I don't have to watch any no names YouTube video to know that they're cheating. Playing with bad connection IS cheating. Hopefully they get him again and we can get more cheaters permanently out of the game

Really appreciate your insight bud. I didn't think I had to explain as it's in the main post, but his connection is fine👌🏻. He's played on my account for months on his ps5 that's connected to his internet and not once have I received a bad connection restriction on my account. All I was saying is that giving him a restriction whenever it is proven that his connection is fine is a dog water decision that makes no sense from a logistics standpoint. I'm all for cheaters being hit with the ban hammer though. But in all seriousness, I sincerely hope that this sort of thing doesn't happen to you because it's really crappy to not finish the season card because of a mistake on bungie's end.

You can go on and on making up sob stories all you want about how it's not his fault, he never cheated, his connections good. The fact that the restriction was upheld counters the story and CONFIRMS its his fault.n

You can file appeals all day long for a restriction and nothing will happen. This is on the d2 support page "Restrictions are temporary, and may not be overturned or undone before they expire." So for when my brother in law filed an appeal they said to just wait it out. This happened 3 times. So I understand the fact it's a long shot to ask for help. But if it was a mistake then just possibly they can reverse it. That's all chief.

You keep saying "unwarranted restriction" The FACT that the restriction was upheld AND that he's been restricted multiple times PROVES it was warranted.

Alright👌🏻. Again appeals can't remove restrictions so that's a losing battle. I could truly understand that it was an Internet issue if my account received a restriction as well. As that has yet to happen I'll chalk it up to another mistake on the mountain that Bungie likes to collect at the expense of it's veteran playerbase. But it's your world boss, if you want to see a player suffer through a 4th 2 month suspension whenever there is literally no issues then I guess that'll have to do🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
