Did I miss something? Cool new stuff? While I got a ghost IDGAF about, the Eliksni Quarter still looks like a -blam!- hole! 😐
That aside, the real kicker to this event, IMO, is the fact that there was such a huge loophole to generate coordinates by simply pressing a single button that allowed the community to hit the goal so quickly. Hell, it could have been a single guardian with some macro who contributed to 99% of it.
I guess that's what you get for a free event, but it's honestly so classic Bungie, it's funny.
No doubt they have the A, B, C, & D teams scrambling on Lightfall, and the E team had the honor of building this event.
It's all good though...

Come on dude, Eliksni got stairs!!! Isn't that absolutely amazing? Imagine all the things they could do with them? They will flourish for the generations to come lmao

I really enjoyed the changes and would like to see more like this! Watching the humans and Eliksni work together is cool.

So, I noticed the "corn" too. Mainly because I grew up in an area where there was an abundance or corn. I'll admit I initially thought "cool, we helped the Eliksni start growing stuff". Upon closer look, however, there are no ears on any of those stalks. You need 2 parts of the stalk to grow corn - the top tassel part is the pollen that germinates the ear shoots and makes the ears of corn grow. The tassels are there, but no ear shoots, and the plants are mature given their height, so there should be many ears on those stalks. So, if it really is corn, we gave them defective seeds lacking a female reproductive component. Having written this, it now makes me feel bad because there are a bunch of Eliksni standing around those stalks digging and eagerly awaiting a great harvest, but the reality is that they aren't getting jack -blam!- out of those plants...

Nah, you didn’t. It could be an oversight, or the corn was already harvested for all I know. Who knows!
