Eugh, just shut up, man! It doesn't need nerfed, sick of hearing the moaning about anything new that kills anyone. Everyone complains about being bored then when something is introduced that changes the dynamic or the flow of crucible, everyone complains.
Just adapt to it, be aware that a grenade might freeze you or running up on a warlock is gonna get you slapped and frozen.
Exact same thing as standing in front of a titan who is aiming to shoulder charge you. Sure it's a complete scumbag tactic but not completely unavoidable, therefore not broken.
Just quit crying nerf to anything that appears effective or you aren't familiar with. Any weapon that works well in the meta is victim to the crying, you can overcome anything unless it is truly broken, stasis is not. It just simply is not, first few matches I was getting -blam!-ed up, then the freezing happened less and less. I'm no top tier player not even close since the early days of D1 so if I'm able to adapt I dont doubt anyone else can if they get the idea of the crucible that existed before out of their head.

I just find it weird we’re all talking about abilities and supers. What happened to pure gun skill? That hasn’t been a thing in forever.

Tbh I think in a game with specials, abilities and supers like Destiny has, a one shot kill answer to killing your opponent, gun skill sort of falls to the back of the priority list when the majority of the time your primary is a last resort for most people when the rest of the one shot alternatives are gone. I think the truly good players in the game have the gun skills too though and that's What makes them successful, the rest who rely on cruch abilities and specials but cant fire a primary straight will only ever see moderate success

I noticed how the casual gamers tend to like the broken metas because they can effortlessly get kills against the sweats now and will defend stasis till there last breath because they don’t want to get stomped on again pre beyond light. I completely agree with adapting to new metas but stasis completely ruins the flow of competitive pvp, there was a match where I was unavoidably frozen 7 times throughout the match and as you already no there is no counter. Pve stasis is great pvp was a terrible idea. 👎 also shows me there devs are not competitive gamers.

How do you adopt to being motionless and weak with no counter? Genuine question. Stasis might as well be instakill the way it is now.

Be aware that a grenade will freeze you, dodge, jump whatever to avoid it. It won't leap into the air after you. If they hit you bang on with mostly any grenade you are done for anyway so there is no difference. Even if you survive you would be cleaned up almost immediately by anyone worth their salt. You can also use them to your advantage to stop supers. You have access to the same abilities. In comp you have visual of the opponents supers, be ready for it. Like always, there is sometimes nothing you can do if the person you are facing is better or your positioning is garbage, you just have to look at situations you failed in and adjust for next time, it's how we all learn.

Stasis gernades don't kill in one hit though all it does is freeze you the damage comes from the shattering itself which does a great amount damage that can instantly kill if you are using armor with little to nothing for resilience the same can be applied for any other gernade if that is the case.

That doesnt mean a ohk. If you get frozen atm you are almost guaranteed to die

Skip grenades track, arcbolt chains, top tree stormcaller makes all arc abilities chain, celestial fire tracks, hammer of sol tracks both top and middle tree. Bottomed tree dawnblade tracks, tether and suppression grenades do nearly the exact same thing as stasis.

So? What are you, an idiot? Just know exactly who is going to throw that grenade and who it’s going to hit relative to your position 6 seconds in advance. It’s really quite easy honestly. Just see into the future

Bingo! The game certainly has issues, a lack of loot after sunsetting, doesn't feel like there are any new weapons worth getting excited about at the moment, that could do with being seen but sadly itll get drowned out by the scrubs who cant jump over a cold snap grenade crying that stasis is broken.

Very true. Am I likening the new meta? Feels good to use ace and old fashioned again Yes but I would of enjoyed a new handcannon that wont be sunset for a while.
