Nerf Stasis ONLY IN PVP
It killed crucible but it's fine in pve. Stop punishing PVE players because some crap is broken in crucible

The only reason you complain so much is up until now Crucible has remained relatively unchanged and you've had years to become a top pvp player and now that something's come along and knocked you off that pedestal you're whining and crying like a bunch of babies get over it thanks for breaking something that was initially a welcome and refreshing change to a crucible that had become stagnant and broken

Sadly bungee does not have that capability they can't make a change to play vs player and somehow they can make a patch where that change will not affect PVE. have been trying to explain that to people in the destiny Community but people refuse to listen! People's excuse for not listening is because Bungie said targets instead of kabobs it doesn't matter the way they word it. They can't Nerf an exotic for PVP sake and then expect that change to not affect PVE... if bungee had this capability the game would be more balanced. Most importantly if bungee had this capability you wouldn't see posts from 2014 up to 2019 still asking for this feature for updates

1 RespuestaThey definitely need to nerf titan stasis ASAP. It’s too OP and has too much armor. While supers like the hunter suck and do barely any damage or you can easily run from. They warlock super is like moving with a Boulder attached to your ankles while the Titan is like the flash. Since when did Bungie mess up the subclasses so bad where titan which use to be a tank is now like a hunter on steroids. Go back to the d1 days where gun skill mattered because the community is dying and only getting worse. Even out stasis or take it away but take subclasses back to their original intent. Titan- tank. Hunter-fast. Warlock- good abilities.

22 RespuestasEugh, just shut up, man! It doesn't need nerfed, sick of hearing the moaning about anything new that kills anyone. Everyone complains about being bored then when something is introduced that changes the dynamic or the flow of crucible, everyone complains. Just adapt to it, be aware that a grenade might freeze you or running up on a warlock is gonna get you slapped and frozen. Exact same thing as standing in front of a titan who is aiming to shoulder charge you. Sure it's a complete scumbag tactic but not completely unavoidable, therefore not broken. Just quit crying nerf to anything that appears effective or you aren't familiar with. Any weapon that works well in the meta is victim to the crying, you can overcome anything unless it is truly broken, stasis is not. It just simply is not, first few matches I was getting -blam!-ed up, then the freezing happened less and less. I'm no top tier player not even close since the early days of D1 so if I'm able to adapt I dont doubt anyone else can if they get the idea of the crucible that existed before out of their head.

And Stasis can be what actually saves PvP if you just believe. Stasis helps with two things that are very important. It makes it so we can play to our playstyles and it helps to mitigate some of the things that can sometimes happen with matchmaking. It's pure genius. It really is and once yall have the epiphany that I had last night you too will admit that you have no idea how to develop a videogame and it is Bungie who does.

This literally goes back to the beginning of Destiny 1. Time was, the Suros Regime was THE go to weapon in Crucible and some wanted it nerfed. I remember also when it seemed like everyone was running Red Death for a time. I think somewhere you can still hear the echoes from all the whining and crying about how the Vex Mythoclast was the most unbalanced weapon ever. OMG, they cried, remove the Mythoclast! Not the Mythoclast! There's been whining about skip grenades, the Titan Super, Thorn, and probably a whole lot more that isn't listed here. Memory of Skorri got nerfed largely due to a vocal minority of players were too cowardly to advance and challenge opponents who used it yet didn't bother to use it themselves. Touch of Malice got altered. The list goes on and on... So now Stasis is changing up Crucible. I love it. I hope Bungie leaves it just like it is.

Could be a slow instead of a freeze. CC isn’t a fun mechanic in a shooter. Not sure why bungie thought otherwise. Pve can go as mmo as they want but pvp will always be a shooter first. That mmo shooter is a hard genre to do right and I don’t think bungie is capable of doing it justice

9 RespuestasNah, leave it alone. For all these years PVP players have lorded it over PVE players in every game because they don't play against the AI, they play against other people and have to develop counters on the fly. Learn to counter Stasis if you're that damned good.

Have you tried Mayhem this week? It's as fun as ever. I had fun not running Stasis either. Nova Bombs and Dawnblade provided plenty of enjoyment. Interestingly, I didn't get frozen nearly as often as I anticipated. One game I got frozen once at the start and not again the entire game. And this wasn't a matter of the other team not running Stasis either. The vast majority of players in my Mayhem games last night were running Stasis builds.

Crucible and pve are fine with stasis. Hell it kind of fixed the dull boring same ol crucible that hardly changed since beginning D2. No nerf needed.

I hate crucible and average about 10 kills a game. I know something is wrong when i have 31 kills from stasis and died only a few times. It needs a severe nerf in crucible but stay the same in pve

8 RespuestasIf they allow stasis grenades to remain in PVP, then solar grenades should make opponents stand still and pat their burning bodies and Arc grenades should make opponents stand still and be electrocuted. Stasis is a little over the top in a bad way. Please resolve this.

25 RespuestasThe fact that people defend how stasis works in pvp really bugs me, the whole point of an fps is to be moving around, yet i cant do that because if i do someone will throw a hrenade that misses me but the i get caught by the tracking ice. Or they throw a duskfield grenade and i get grabbed by someone uncle from 10 feet away from it. What needs to change about stasis is the freezing throigh shields, freezing on grenades and melees. Cause there is nothing more annoying than going into comp and getting frozen left and right. Its first person shooter, not freeze person then shoot

They can't nerf it in one without nerfing it in the other. Pvp and pve share a sandbox, so any changes to something in one affects both. It's why changes to things due to pvp always changes how it works in pve, and vice versa. Sorry you don't know how to fight stasis, but it's not that big of a deal.

34 RespuestasJust stop, get over it. You complain because it’s new and you have no idea how to get by it. Every other class can dominate in crucible as well. Okay, I throw a stasis Grenade at you, you’re frozen, Now I can easily kill you, or I get killed and you still live. Other subclasses do the same thing, just in a different way. Run through crowds with sun breaker, you can kill tons of people. Warlock stasis super is literally the best choice, and it essentially kills just as fast. Learn how to work around it, learn to play differently. Don’t just expect things to change because you can’t adapt. Oh and also, I hate crucible with a passion, but I also know that these things can easily be avoided if you change your play style.
