People will use what works. You can take the moral high ground, I can take the moral high ground.....most won't as they simply want to win so when the old weapons are better they will be used. Bungie simply doesn't care. As to supply of weapons I think it is not to early to understand that the weapon content of the game will going forward be at all time lows. I know it is early but these tea leaves simply are not hard to read.

Most weapons work. Problem is no one bothers experimenting anymore. I shifted over to fusions from shotguns because shotguns just suck at being consistent. Bungie did care a little. They removed what had to be removed. Breathing some small token of life back into the game. But they're treading on thin ice with every step they take. It is early days. But I think things will gather a bit more traction with time. When the loot swells again it'll be shaved down again thanks to sun setting. Rotato potato on the hamster wheel.
