Indeed. It's not like it's a difficult game. Just in a rough area and we're all rolling through it with two flat tyres and no suspension.

“It’s not that bad” isn’t a great thing to be saying about a franchise currently on Y10 of development, Y6 of gameplay and a sequel later, in fact it’s embarrassing. Bungie stated D1 was a beta, and that our feedback had been taken onboard from 2014 - 2017. D2 released unfinished again missing every aspect that made the game destiny. They have now spent the last 3 years trying to catch up to the D1 standard witch is now 3 years old. Without activision and the help of the two extra studies the game is as you said messy. It’s buggy, pvp is still insanely laggy. Loading times on console are shocking. One reason being the game is one of the only with no dedicated servers, bungie are to cheap. None of the community feedback ever gets through to them. Every day, every week I see the same feedback with zero acknowledgement from bungie. They continue to punting out old D1 recycled crap in a 2020 game....a AAA+ company. No other game would get away with that. 5 year old trials content? Come on... Every season just feels the same now. Level up your artefact for what? The 6th time now? Running about doing bounties left right and centre. The game has turned so stale. The game doesn’t seem to be getting any attention or care from bungie since they announced there new game with Netease. It just feels like destiny is a money maker for there new title that most of the hunger staff are working on while the small team recycles destiny content. I ain’t falling for it anymore and I’m definitely not giving them any my money. Not until bungie prove the passion is still there. Sadly, the over flowing cash shop, lack of any gear like iron banner stuff, 5 year old D1 recycled content, the fact exotics still cant use champion mods almost a year of feedback later, no planet vendor has seen a refresh since D2 launch in 2017, factions are all but gone thanks to bungies own terrible activity designs and then blamed the players for not taking part and they can’t think of any missions that doesn’t involve standing on a plate, dunking an orb or defending your ghost while he scans down crap. quit frankly, when other franchise and studios are offering new and immersive ways to play and experience there games, at the same time bungie is teasing the rerun of 2014 recycled cosmodrome along with removing payed content....offering a D1 gun for the preorder bonus...marketing destiny as free to play while price tagging the biggest DLC. Embarrassing. It’s lucky if D2 is even considered as good as D1 to many people, and that’s the scariest part, D1 wasn’t even all that amazing and it’s now 3 years old.

Ahhh I see. You're upset with Bungies lazy streak. I don't blame you the game is mediocre atm if not stale. The problem with them going F2P is content the vets bought qas going to go free or be removed eventually. But the money there went somewhere I guess. I will be blunt. To expect anything astonshingly great from Bungie right now is a fools gamble. They refused to build Destiny 3 and solve the issues they can't fix. For example. Building the game around dedicated servers. Or having a more effective means of countering cheaters. I get it man I do. But I still find fun in playing. Maybe you dudes need to step away for a while. I took a break for a month and came back with needing things to do. Self imposed incentives. So as I said. It aint bad but it's a mess. Squarely on Bungie for not drawing a line on D2 and going ahead with creating D3 instead.

It would be -more- fun if the design of the game hadnt been so toxicly designed around gambling that the other people I knew left it. As someone who's had a gambling problem this fed into it pretty well for a while but im finaly burnt for the most part. I just played Halo 1 through 3 on PC with that MC Remastered edition.. and WOW what a difference. Its so much more tense and epic in story and scenery even as aged as those titles are. The MOST epic moment I remember from Destiny 2 ... flying through those pipes in the almighty to the main core... it was such a great view, and it had a great score to go with it. Since Cayde was killed off , this game has become just slow and melancholly.
