3,700 people isn't shit. 58% of a vote comprised of less than 1% of the population that played just yesterday really isn't saying much either.
Edit: also, if you look at the poll he did himself, over 8,000 people on Twitter voted for sunsetting.

To your edit, Paul also claimed that his poll might be biased in his personal direction as well, given the fact that he’s pro sunsetting. So it really doesn’t hold much weight either.
-
I know. I linked the tweet to further show that "the community" isn't unified on the matter.

Editado por Lore Oradon: 5/27/2020 10:08:11 PM😂🤣🤣🤣 these polls are making my lungs hurt.
-
My head is starting to hurt from all the face palms I'm doing while trying to convince the people that replied to me that 8,000 > 3,700.
-
Editado por Artisan: 5/28/2020 5:14:00 PMAs neither figures are nowhere NEAR the levels of total D2 players, saying 8000 > 3700 is fundamentally irrelevant. IRRELEVANT. What ALONE is relevant is that a substantial poll majority of near two thirds in a VALID POLL showed a clear POLL MAJORITY against Sunsetting.

Well the debate is over so sure, may as well as post up some Disney vids I guess 👌

from 20million users to 35K playing ... something went wrong
-
Destiny 2 has never had 20 million concurrent players. You're comparing apples to Apache helicopters.
-
Editado por name: 5/27/2020 5:36:24 PMyou dont need to compare the numbers directly as the same value , its enough to consider the rate of potential players vs active players to see a trend, now that the game is even free to play the potential player number is even higher limited by the amount of capable consoles/PC's :D even worse
-
you dont need to compare the numbers directly as the same value
Then why'd you say they went from 20 million (total # of individual accounts that have ever done a single activity) to 35K (concurrent players on steam at some random point in time)?
-
What a poll promoted solely for those who follow Tassi, a notorious advocate of Sunsetting, along with the 'neutral' leading question of let's see if we can reverse this??? An absolutely irrelevant non- poll I'm afraid. The majority in EVERY POLL YET SEEN are against Sunsetting. Though Smith isn't listening to the Community.
-
The majority in EVERY POLL YET SEEN are against Sunsetting.
Not the one Tassi did on twitter.
-
I've just explained the undeniable invalidity of his own poll to his own audience, with his leading question. No one will ever take that seriously or as representative. So I repeat: The majority in EVERY POLL YET SEEN are against Sunsetting.
-
So people that agree with Tassi don't count as part of the community now?
-
Nope. They count, the poll doesn't. There ARE players who support this, that much IS true but all the indicators suggest the majority are against.
-
Okay. Then show the poll where more than 8,000 people vote against sunsetting.
-
The difference between a majority from the poll and the majority of all players. As said The majority in EVERY POLL YET SEEN are against Sunsetting.
-
If you want to say the majority of all players are against it, then show the poll where more than 8,000 people vote against sunsetting.
-
As I said , again The majority in EVERY POLL YET SEEN are against Sunsetting. The larger the (valid) poll the better, but that's the best info we have.
-
The larger the (valid) poll the better, but that's the best info we have.
That's why I'm asking for a poll with more votes than the one Tassi did.
-
The largest, valid poll I believe us the Reddit poll highlighted by Tassi (his poll as we've already discussed will never been seen as valid for all the reasons above) https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/paultassi/2020/05/24/poll-results-destiny-2-players-weigh-in-for-or-against-weapon-sunsetting/amp/ It's representative enough to suggest and certainly by the largest, valid poll we have that the majority are AGAINST.
-
That's not more than 8,000 people. Hell, more people voted against sunsetting in Tassi's poll than in that one.
-
It's the best we have. No Tassie own followers and network doing what he is asking them for will not be taken seriously. Not even oro-sunsetters will take it as representative. If you know of even larger scale polls - as long as they are neutral - post them up. Until then, the picture is clear.
-
No Tassie own followers and network doing what he is asking them for will not be taken seriously.
Why not?
