Makes more sense for police to be armed and citizens not than vice versa.
Why is that?
Training and responsibility.
Makes more sense for police to be armed and citizens not than vice versa. Why is that? Training and responsibility.
You can be responsible and get training even if you dont work for a police department.
Makes more sense for police to be armed and citizens not than vice versa. Why is that? Training and responsibility.
False. The vice versa you imply is that citizens are armed but police officers are not. You make a straw man argument.
-
So by. Straw man do you mean it’s actually true because I’m making a satirical point that obviously a fully armed society against a completely unarmed police force is just ridiculous 🙄 Not exactly what a straw man is but it’s all I can presume 🧐
So by. Unless you indicate you are being satirical or sarcastic within the same comment, it is valid for others to take you at case value. You make a Schrodinger comment, where you can claim to take it back or not depending on how your comment is received by others. It demonstrates your lack of conviction.
Not exactly what a straw man is but it’s all I can presume 🧐
You made a straw man argument.

Editado por SWED420: 1/24/2020 9:21:08 PMI took nothing back, my hypothesis remained valid. Satire or sarcasm can and were used to emphasize a truth, not too make some meaningless joke. And again no where can I see this straw man, I have an explanation not an argument 🙄 Edit. Word

It's hard to tell if somethings satire unless I write it.

No one in favor of defending their right to bear arms has ever made the argument you made. It is a straw man argument that you put forth.

I thought police were racists that shoot black people on sight... You really want people like that with guns? The agenda is exposed...
-
That also needs to be on the to do list. Better behaved piggies 🐷 It’s a big list 🙄
That also needs to be on the to do list. Better behaved piggies 🐷 It’s a big list 🙄
It’s super easy to say that but GL implementing it.
-
Yup good luck indeed 🤞
-
How would you propose doing that in areas where they’re desperate for police officer hires?
-
Editado por SWED420: 1/24/2020 8:41:41 PMDo your police have body cams that record everything? Makes being a duck a bit harder. And offers protection to an honest cop. Either way that’s one thing and it ain’t my job to help remove racism from American police 🙄
-
You make the claim only police should have guns. I’m putting your belief to the test. Apparently it’s flimsy. Also it’s easy AF to “lose” the video.
-
And no you can’t lose the video. That is highly suspicious if claims are raised against you
And no you can’t lose the video. That is highly suspicious if claims are raised against you
*insert Jeff Epstein joke*

Indeed. Don’t get that shit over here 🤦♂️ Well I’m sure there is, it’s just hidden more cleverly 😉🇬🇧
Indeed. Don’t get that shit over here 🤦♂️ Well I’m sure there is, it’s just hidden more cleverly 😉🇬🇧
It’s like Hoth said. It’s ironic that a British person is telling an American that only government employees should own/have firearms. L. O. L.

Well certain sectors, police, military. Also I’d happily support many private security firms, places need security. Just not bobs discount gun store 🙄
Well certain sectors, police, military. Also I’d happily support many private security firms, places need security. Just not bobs discount gun store 🙄
What makes police, military, or private security personnel qualified to have guns? The same training classes I could take on weekends?
-
No a newer much more intensive training course with heavy mental evaluations
-
No a newer much more intensive training course with heavy mental evaluations
The mental evaluations arent that heavy though. And typical police firearm training isnt that intensive. It's not like we need to spend weeks studying criminal procedure, understanding due process, knowing what a PIT maneuver is etc.
-
And a course in real English spellings and real football would help too 🙌😊
Well certain sectors, police, military. Also I’d happily support many private security firms, places need security. Just not bobs discount gun store 🙄
British employed Mercs too in the revolutionary war. Don’t be a buzzkill.

War is something else entirely. Not something we should plan out daily lives around for sure.
