Sbmm ALWAYS causes the game to drop in numbers.
The players who keep the game going: hardcore pvp players, don’t have fun anymore and they go play something else.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dude literally no. You're being a 🤡
-
You have a 0.7 kd
-
You’re mistaken sir. I have a 1.37 k/d.
-
Hardcore pvp players should love sbmm... gives them competition
-
Then you greatly don’t understand what sbmm does to hardcore players.
-
Gives them a challenge. I just said that. Yes, cbmm reduces lag and matches you with similar ping players, but then crucible is still no fun because either it’s too easy, or too difficult.
-
Not in the least. With cbmm you get connected with whoever. Some games are easy, some are hard. But they’re always fair. It’s always based on thumb skill. Not on who’s lag is better off this game. You see, with cbmm you can literally play anyone. Sometimes you’re on top, sometimes you get paired up with the greatest players in the game. Sbmm for medium and low skill players is a participation trophy. For high skill players is a sweat fest nonstop. That’s cool for a game or two but after that it just feels like work.
-
You didn’t understand what I was saying. Cbmm DOES go off of ping. Lag doesn’t determine anything in it, you’re correct. And it’s the opposite of “fair”. You can have a team of 6 light level 820 paired against a team of 6 light level 960s.
-
please clarify. Lag has a lot to do with sbmm. Cbmm is based on ping (more or less accurate).

If you look at fighting games on twitch, the skilled players are always playing ranked. Cant say I've seen a stream featuring quick play/casual matches ever. Destiny 2 elites just want to stomp it seems. Before last season, it was quickplay, now it's trying to avoid players of the same caliber in sbmm. They complain about account recoveries, etc.
-
I dunno what you’re smoking. No high skill player I know wants to stomp people. They do not want to sweat every match. I dunno about fighting games. Nor do I care about streamers. They play for a living. I play for fun and there’s currently no fun playlist for me to play with friends.

Editado por golgotha01: 12/24/2019 12:54:18 AMYou will frequently see youtube videos entitled "40, 50, defeats", etc. I'm not singling you out, but from the content I'm seeing in the media, my conclusion is these players like to stomp. Again, I'm not sure if they are representative of hardcore pvp players in general, but avoiding sbmm is a bytch move. Elite fgc players are always in ranked, always in sbmm. Casual match awards no skill points at all in fighting games like db fighter z and street fighter 5. Those guys are sweating it out 3 or 4 hours a day in sbmm and ranked. Every match is sweaty. These guys go to tourneys, and have sponsors so they are legit.
-
Like I said. Dunno anything about fighting games. And I don’t give a shlt about streamers.
-
Okay, I understand that, but intentionally avoiding sbmm perceptually reflects poorly on a player deemed as hardcore or top 1 percent. It just looks bad and like a somewhat desperate measure to avoid matching against players of the same caliber.
-
No. It’s about not fighting against lag. It’s about not sweating my butt off for every single match. It’s about playing with my friends who aren’t as skilled. Sbmm is terrible for the community.
-
Again, you should want to match up against equally skilled players, it's a competitive game. Sbmm as designed take into account all players on your team. If it doesnt, then that's a bungie problem. Everyone has connection problems in this game and has to deal with them. I have gigabyte internet and still have problems with this game.
-
Comp is competitive. I’m fine with that ranked system. The rest of the game should be based on connection.
-
Okay, I think just like fighters, you should not get points for victories and you should not get any stats (either displayed at the end of the match or credited on your account). Casual match in those games give you fight money/currency, but no skill points and no stats.
-
That’s not how SHOOTING games work. Go play a fighting game. Please stop comparing to that.
-
It's not about genre, it's about maintaining a healthy competition entitlement. For people who want to play casual matches, the rewards should less than skill based/ranked/comp. That's pretty logical.
-
There’s no rewards now. Comp is, by far, the most relaxed playlist in the game. Which is stupid.
-
lol imagine thinking that "hardcore PvP players" actually play the dumpster fire that is crucible. The only people who play crucible are trash players who couldn't succeed at a real PvP game because they need the crutch of low/no-skill one hit weapons and skills.
-
I’ve successfully played all sorts of pvp. Destiny’s pvp is leaps and bounds better than anything else.
-
LOL. Translation: I'm god awful if I'm forced to shoot with efficacy. One shot to the toe with a trash weapon is what makes a PvP "good"
-
What are you talking about? Make some sense.
