He's right actually.
I see this countless times where people literally make up expectations for any new game, when the devs never once insinuate, nor say it was going to be in there. Just look at the cesspool that is called the Destiny fanbase.
I see this countless times where people literally make up expectations for any new game, when the devs never once insinuate, nor say it was going to be in there.
Ok, for starters, Destiny (1) was promoted to the hilt by Bungie to be something that it never was. This particular incident the developer NEVER actually told anyone ANYTHING about what exactly the game was supposed to be like. It IS there fault for promotion is THEIR job.

Do you know anything about Anthem? I'd be cautious about agreeing with the CEO of EA. EA doesn't have a very good reputation.

I do and read my statement again. I was addressing the topic generally and applying to all games. I personally think devs take into account what people say on forums way too much now a days and that's why games suffer. Devs need to go back to making the game they want to make and people just play their game. This whole catering to children on forums is bad for games and frankly fn stupid.

Uh huh..... Completely ignoring the fact that EA published a game that was nowhere near playable, a completely broken buggy mess and you agree with EA CEO Andrew Wilson. Not at all dodging responsibility. Nope.
-
I'm not dodging shit nor am I disagreeing with you. Learn to read and comprehend.
-
Oh I do. You agreed with a compulsive liar.

He was addressing the topic generally. You were looking at a specific situation. You seemed to have been stuck on the “He’s right actually.” line. From my perspective. Which is why he told you to learn to read and comprehend. He continued to explain why he believed the CEO was right. If you wanted to argue a point like this, you should’ve started with the general point (the meat of his comment) and worked down to the specific situation that you wanted. Instead, you attacked the CEO (I agree with that part mostly) and BADMAGIK. “Omg. You agreed with this guy?” “Yeah” “Well, he’s a compulsive liar. You agreed with a compulsive liar?” “What does that add to this. You didn’t like what he said? Get over it.!” “He’s clearly lying. The game is buggy and continues to be buggy. Andrew (whatever his name is) is Lying!” “I’m not disagreeing with you. This argument is not going anywhere.” And so, you may know how to read and comprehend but BADMAGIK didn’t seem to see that.

I don't think he watched the video at all. Andrew Wilson basically said that Anthem failed because as a social game there were two different types of players. One that wanted an RPG type experience and the other that wanted a looter-shooter experience from Anthem. Because they couldn't agree they couldn't play together. BadM goes on about Wilson being right and a how people on the Destiny forums are ruining Destiny... It just didn't make any sense. I guess I shouldn't have expected him to watch the video to even know what the subject of all of this is.

Editado por BADMAGIK: 6/21/2019 5:59:39 PMOh. You didn't like what he said, so you resort to name calling. Why? Because he hurt your feelings? Get over it. You don't like it, don't play their games, move on and stop worrying or talking about it. Your desperation at pointing out negatives and "trying to bring the big man down" mentality is pathetic.

There's no hurt feeling whatsoever. The guy is outright lying. There was an article about the failure of BioWare management. How for years they couldn't make up their minds in the direction Anthem should go or what it should even be! The entire game was made in crunch in 18 months or less. It was completely broken, buggy and unplayable. It's still a buggy mess to this day. https://youtu.be/8QVByXoXGrQ Andrew Wilson is LYING.
