This whole thread is about PvP so I’m talking about crucible specifically.

Well in that case like you said I only play in one platform which is Xbox so my view point is there and since I ain’t enough, go check other forums where player quit the crucible due to imbalanced issues. Most of them will say how the meta and tryhards are what is killing the game and like I said, I’ve experienced more tryhards then people would like to believe
-
I don’t need to go check anything, these forums themselves only reperesent a small portion of the player base. There’s just no way you can possibly think that more tryhards play PvP than just normal casual players.
-
Well that was MY experience and I’m telling my view point from that experience I saw more sweats than scrubs
-
But you have to look beyond your specific experience and think about it logically.
-
Logically, the matchmaking took longer than compared to launch and I’ve seen more people use meta loadouts than usual. Once I’ve noticed it, so has the community and youtubers
-
Sbmm hasn’t been implemented so what does matchmaking have to do with anything? Also you think someone simply using a meta loadout makes them a tryhard? Now this all makes sense.
-
Matchmaking is different from sbmm which is surprising how you don’t know what matchmaking is and what makes a tryhard is their loadouts. Nowadays you have to use the meta to compete and others have realized that fact and gave up on crucible
-
I know what matchmaking is and that sbmm isn’t currently implemented. I’m asking you what the current matchmaking has to do with whether more of the population of this game are casuals or tryhards?
It doesn’t just in case you didn’t figure that out.
What determines if somebody is a tryhard or not is their loadout? So if I put on a meta loadout and hand the controller to me niece is she a tryhard? If some random casual who barely plays the game but likes to use handcannons and handcannons just happen to be apart of the meta does he automatically become a tryhard? Like I said however many replies I ago I figured your definition of a tryhard would be stupid.
-
I sense toxicity arising Matchmaking is relevant to this case considering how much longer it takes to find a game and you wanna know why?
Most causals gave up on crucible due to its issues
Of course I can distinguish between a tryhard and a player who has no arms but my point stands that tryhards only use meta loadouts unless they’re like CammyCakes or True Vanguard where they actually try to be original in their loadout

Editado por Aerios: 12/25/2018 1:28:05 AM“Most casuals gave up on crucible due to its issues” Says who? What data did you read that told you most of the casual player base gave up on crucible. How could you even know that? And posts on these forums don’t represent the entire player base (a small portion infact) so don’t even bother saying you saw people post about it on the forums. So only 2 people in the community are tryhards that don’t use meta loadouts? You’re just saying things at this point.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/242956685?sort=0&page=0&path=1 https://destinytracker.com/ I can provide more if you want but if you’re still gonna deny the state of the game then clearly you can’t think “logically”
-
What does any of that prove? That people are playing PvP less overall? Ok? How does that prove that more tryhards are playing PvP than casuals? You are aware that tryhard players can quit playing PvP too right?
-
My guy if tryhards are quitting then crucible is clearly in a bad state don’t you think?
-
I think it’s fine not that that’s what this is about. And I never said tryhards are quitting I said that it’s possible for them to potentially. The way you posted those links was as if you think just because someone is quitting that means that they are 100% a casual.
-
Well for the 3rd or 4th time, I’ve been seeing more tryhards than usual and it’s not like Im the only one seeing them, others definitely experience it as well so tie that with the lower player count overall, I’m just saying but definitely more casuals are quitting crucible or only returning just to do the milestones which still means they hate the state of crucible

What you've been seeing is irrelevant. You're experience doesn't make up even 1% of the playerbase There are always more casuals then tryhards, always you can clearly see this by simply looking at how many people have lunas howl vs how many not or see how few have ever done a raid by checking the achievements for them. Our population currently is more the acceptable, if people dont like that the non-ranked playlist doesn't have something that the non-competitive playlist ever should and want to leave then by all means. Ultimately thier numbers dont effect us, particularly if you check how many players ran pvp today alone
