I think if we were going to have a alliance with the fallen it would be a common enemy rather then a peace treaty
English
-
Fair enough, what do you think that common enemy might be?
-
Vex or hive
maybe the darkness?
-
That's most likely, the scorn might become an issue for them eventually
-
Spider had a alliance with us, so we are getting closer
-
It's true, first Variks now a crime Lord with goons... Are we climbing up or down the ladder?
-
Variks isn't with us anymore. His actions lead to the death of Cadye and he is seemingly openly opposing us.

Editado por Noir Renard: 12/3/2018 11:11:13 PMThe riot at the beginning of the game, he released the Barron's and the prisoners. Let uldrin exscape and in the end was the actual catalysts to the entire events of forsaken. Alsonin his lore book he talks about taking the traveler back by force. Which would presumably involving taking it from us.
-
I highly doubt that Variks would betray the player, and imo I don't think he should be held responsible for Cayde's death. He had no idea that would happen nor was it his intention
-
Intention dose not alleviate guilt. Also once again from a lore standpoint it seems he is very well willing to oppose the guardians. As is he could be an enemy in the future if bungie wanted to do so as hes set himself up as the opposition feining to restore the fallen at any cost. Also with cadyes death. The huge story about savathun and the coming darkness. The drifter arc and of course the huge as
Uldrin coming back to life as a guardian
Bungie is taking risks with there story telling finally. If Variks did turn aginsted us which is possible it could be a fight to remeber if they built him up as a truly sympathetic character trying to save his race wile we the guardians continue to decimate what little they have left.
-
Aww man, I don't want to fight him
-
I feel ya, but It looks like that may be the direction were going In.
-
Valkis was one person, spider has lots
who would be more useful?
-
You do know that Variks both made the scorn and managed the Prison of Elders, right?
-
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That's a solid no to one of those. He experimented on the Scorn, specifically the Fanatic. He did not "make" the Scorn. Well, he kinda did by accident on one isolated occasion during an experiment, but for the most part the Fanatic was responsible for all that Scorn stuff. Not Variks. But he did a bang-up job managing the prison. Until he decided to hand in his resignation letter on the day he resigned. Didn't go so well...
-
He didn't make the Scorn. Just loosed them on the system
-
The mafia.
-
I mean don't get me wrong, spider at the end of the day isn't a bad guy... But he's morals are a little questionable
-
He's in it for power and money, questionable but he did help us with getting us to the dreaming city
-
And it's not like he's out there trying to kill everyone, while his actions wouldn't fly in a court of law he's the most peaceful force on the shore
-
Editado por Hammer: 12/3/2018 9:20:09 PMThere is also the fallen captain that doesn't kill you at the end of that mission
rat king right?
-
Mithraaks. Who's now working with the Guardians
-
Fallen guardian coming soon?
-
Dubious due to them not having Light, but there will definitely be Fallen allies
