Hunters ARE the most mobile class. They are not supposed to be fast, they are supposed to be agile and they are. Titans are not tanks, they are front line fighters, they are not supposed to have more health they are supposed to put down walls and punish people that get close to them.. Warlocks are power users over gun users so they don't have any gun perks and have many grenade and healing perks.
Stop trying to force rpg classes into destiny.
Hunters ARE the most mobile class
Last I checked, Mobility is how you get around. Looking at the Classes, Hunters can’t even do half of what Titans and Warlocks can do to get around.
They are not supposed to be fast, they are supposed to be agile and they are.
Agility: the ability to move quickly and easily. And Incase was you have never payed attention, Hunters are always being called “fast”, “quick”, “speedy”, etc. They are supposed to be fast yet they move at half the speed a Warlock and Titan can move at. And no, they are not “agile” like they should be.
Titans are not tanks, they are front line fighters, they are not supposed to have more health they are supposed to put down walls and punish people that get close to them..Warlocks are power users over gun users so they don't have any gun perks and have many grenade and healing perks.
The idiocy in this is just so... cringy 🤦♂️
Stop trying to force rpg classes into destiny.
Do you not know what you play? Destiny is a combination of different genres. One of which is RPGs. To top it all off, everything we are using to describe the Classes is exactly what Bungie has used to describe them in the past.

I can show you many strats that allow titans to change direction, run faster, jump higher, jump farther than hunters. Shoulder charge allows for very quick direction changes. Using the meta of shotguns right now titans are by far the most mobile class.
-
Hunter jumps and dodges ensure that they can change direction and elevation faster than any other class. And I guessing you'd show me the broken titan skating on pc that isn't even supposed to be in the game as part of that? Yeah take it out, like I said titan skating isn't supposed to exist.
-
In destiny 1 where dodges were endless and only held back by a short cooldown id agree with you. Our jumps are good, but just like titans and warlocks to change direction in air is still not a great option. In no way shape or form should a hunter be tankier than a titan or regen as fast as a warlock, and titans and warlocks should not outclass other classes in their respective areas. Yet they do...

Editado por OneTrueMandalor: 10/4/2018 5:28:46 PMHow am I trying to force RPG classes into Destiny classes when Destiny classes were originally based on RPG classes to begin with? Hunters were assassins, Titans were knights, and Warlocks were mages. It makes absolutely no sense for a knight class to be faster than an assassin class. Speed and mobility go hand in hand, you can’t have one without the other, it’s just ridiculous to assume that.
Hunters were assassins, Titans were knights, and Warlocks were mages.
Lol, oh yeah? What makes a titan a "knight" over a hunter? What makes a warlock a mage? They all use magic they all fly through the air, they all have supers. This isn't some rpg were you have static jobs for peopl eon their classes. You don't get to look at the hunter and say "it's supposed to be faster because rpg rules". It already IS what it's supposed to be. Your thoughts on the matter don't make the hunter an assassin...it's a space cowboy class anyway derpo.

Editado por OneTrueMandalor: 10/4/2018 5:41:07 PMLook, I’m only referring to the original inspiration for each guardian class back in D1, this isn’t my own opinion, it’s a fact that each class was based on their respective traditional RPG classes. https://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Classes
While Striker is a class that specializes in close-quarters combat with the devastating Fist of Havoc, Defender is a class that protects and supports its allies with a force field named Ward of Dawn. Sunbreaker, introduced in The Taken King expansion, uses Hammer of Sol to summon a flaming, exploding hammer and wreak destruction among enemies.
Nowhere in that description does it say "has more health" or "able to take more damage". It's a reference point not a concrete "titans are tank class".
Hunter is the agile class that strikes with speed and precision.
Agile, strikes with speed, not moves fast over distances. You see what I'm getting at here?

Editado por OneTrueMandalor: 10/4/2018 5:54:55 PMDid you read where it said the Titan class was the “tank class”? It said nothing about Titans being the fastest either. As for Hunter agility, how about we make it more effective then? I’d prefer to have dodging actually work for once (admit it, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal to make it work for the tiny frame of time that the animation occurs within, it wouldn’t be broken). And the current state of our agility still doesn’t fare well enough against the auto-locking shoulder charges that we can still get hit by even when jumping over.
