Did you also realize he was the best boss in the most fun destiny raid? Because that’s also something people should realize.

It’s subjective about which D1 raid was the best. I personally liked VoG and KF the best. WoRM was still very cool. What isn’t subjective is that all the D1 raids (and indeed the game itself) are better than anything released so far in D2. I can’t speak for Last Wish as I haven’t played it yet. Seeing as the rate of progression is at a -blam!-ing snails pace I doubt I will be bothered to level up to play it. D2 has definitely cured my Destiny addiction. Vanilla was awful, this Forsaken expansion looked great, but RNG/progression has gone far too far the other way. Unrewarding is as demotivating as too rewarding. FFS, never a happy medium with Bungie. What I will never understand is why they just didn’t go with what they had in place from D1 and build on it. It wasn’t broke (mostly) so why did they have to “fix” it. Sorry ranting a bit there, it’s ok. I’ve wiped the rabid drool from my chin. I’ll see myself out. Lol.

I could argue that the d2 raids were better than crota but that’s like saying the sky is blue, and agreed, the way we progress is painful, I get why they did it, so we don’t get a content drought like we had after they changed the infusion system in TTK but they went way overboard here, the fact that there’s a bunch of different soft caps bothers me, ever since taken king I’ve attempted every raid on launch day except last wish because of the ridiculous LL requirement that most of us couldn’t even reach unless we used an exploit or grinded for like 12 hours every day, the other problem I feel is that they released the raid too early, week 3 I see most people on my friends list are around raid ready light, but for some ungodly reason they decided to release it when most of the community were barely above 520.

Fighting Oryx when he’s this utterly massive dude was the best. By far my favorite fight because of how beautiful it looked

King's fall for the win. The way the music dropped when he flew up from the bottom of the ship always put a smile on my face. Fitting music for a king.

I think I agree with you there the most. It maybe is not the greatest designed, maybe not the most challenging, etc etc, but in terms of pure fun Wrath is by far my favorite
