I just realized something about Aksis
In Destiny 1 rise of Iron, the final boss of the raid was named Aksis Archon Prime. An Archon is a religious figure in a Fallen house that takes care of the house's Prime servitor, and as expected Aksis was previously an Archon before being changed by Siva.
But here's the thing, Prime servitors dispense ether for the Fallen house's... But the Devil splicers don't need ether, instead they just need Siva.
I think that after we killed Sepiks perfected, Aksis took on the title of Prime because he was the last thing providing Siva to the splicers. Thus becoming both an Archon and a metaphorical Prime servitor.
I'm probably incredibly late on this but hey what the hell

My clan of friends will never forget we were on the last damage phase and my buddy had the last bomb as the wipe mechanic was about to happen and he threw it......... and it missed. Let’s say we screamed and yelled at him for that😂😂😂

The only reason he brought back Sepiks was to show the other houses the power of Siva Since Servitors were viewed as gods for providing them with the ether needed to survive, he proved that he is better than these gods by using Siva to reprogram them. He didn’t take the title after we destroyed Sepiks Reborn, he already had it

5 RespuestasThis is true. There's also a really cool line in the story that most people missed. I don't remember the words exactly, so I'm going to paraphrase a bit. Here it is: Shiro: The splicers are being led by something. Ghost: You mean... an Archon? Shiro: Or a Prime. What's so cool about this is that they're actually being led by both an Archon AND a Prime, in the form of one being. It's an extremely subtle hint at what the final raid boss would be.

1 RespuestaSounds about right, he wasn’t living at all, and was considered a machine like Taniks was in game. Even using Ex Machina didn’t proc bonus damage on him bc he was considered machine, not fallen.

24 RespuestasAksis to date is still my favourite raid encounter in destiny. Sure about 40% of that is the music but its such an FPS themed raid, I love it.
