Editado por iDovahBear: 12/20/2017 7:09:28 PMI've played the game? It's called console sharing. I ended up attempting Calus a few times early into release, but the Raid lacked appeal. I overall didn't appreciate the luxurious Roman aesthetic on the Leviathan. Felt... unrealistic. The mechanics were actually a bit difficult, and with how slow I felt on D2 Titan v. D1 Titan, it just became a nuisance I felt better avoiding. And that's the problem: Unlike in the olden days, my incentive to hunker down and keep trying... was cosmetics. Rarely could anything I received be considered a substantial upgrade. And that's why this game failed to secure my money: Because it didn't have enough appeal to make it worthwhile. So I basically did like one step before the Boss with a team, then wiped on Calus a bunch. By no means did I complete the activity. But as a D1 PvE Completionist, I think it more than warrants a bit of questioning why someone like me wouldn't have simply hunkered down and powered on through. I'm basically expressing, from my perspective, what losing that appeal does to the game. The bottom line of Destiny as a looter is: I'll play through this annoying shit to get the good loot. But they turned it into: I'll play through this annoying shit to get cool-looking loot. And it's pretty obvious from the results that people aren't as vain about how their character looks as they are serious about having a progression based game with loot that adds a level of awe when used. Exotics are this game's equivalent of Legendaries in WoW. Things that are integral to the lore and offer unique functions that make them stand out from so much as a moment's glance. The current Exotic setup is basically stepping further and further away from realizing their potential due to blanket nerfs to the game. Like many of us who justified sticking with the 'shit show' that was Destiny 1, I still have hope. I've just ALSO had three years to realize better than to bet on Bungie to give me that hope.
