Please correct me if I'm wrong. But as I was reading through your post, what you want is literally the same as the Bright Dust system. Only that it should be easier to earn it, that you get a (fixed?) amount of it out of each Engram, and that there are more items offered that you can purchase directly, and that they are cheaper on Bright Dust.

I am sorry about that. I try to reduce the time I spend on my real life in the future, so I can reply faster.

Less condescending would be great too if you could get on that directly after reading this maybe bungie will notice as well. Heck the game might even be saved call it a Christmas miracle.

But you are forgetting key features to my proposal. 1. You currently can only buy from a pool of specific items from Eververse each week for obscene amounts of bright dust. In my proposal, all items would be available for purchase all the time. And, they would be reasonably priced. 2. You are not guaranteed anything when it comes to buying silver for loot boxes. Whereas, in my proposal you would 100% be guaranteed to purchase exactly what you want while avoiding the RNG loot boxes. While I see what you are saying, what I am proposing is not the same. The current system promotes gambling and makes people want to spend more. My fixes would make the microtransacrions more direct and fair. Basically, all Bungie has to do is remove the RNG aspect of microtransactions. Simple, small economy tweaks to make the game more enjoyable and rewarding for players.

I see what you mean. Reminds me a lot of the Elder Scrolls Online Store, to be honest. There, you buy "Crowns" with real money, and then you have a huge shop where you can spend your Crowns on many items directly (however, the prices are far from reasonable there). But there would also be a way to earn Silver/the in-game currency through regular gameplay?
-
Yes. Bright engrams would simply reward players with a specified amount of silver whenever you get enoug xp for one.
-
Don't mind him, he just wants a system that isn't a predatory scam made to rip off children and gambling addicts.
-
Lmao. Destiny's micro transactions are anything but predatory. I love how a couple of people call EA predatory, and now literally everything is predatory.
-
They are as predatory as you are at the local elementary school.
-
Sure... whatever you want to think.
-
Well how I interpreted it was that you get set amount of silver when leveling up instead of bright engrams. Bright engrams are removed and you can buy whatever you want from the store using silver instead of relying on rng.
