You really just undermined the class abilities. No melee can't do shit in pve and gernades don't do that much damage too. The wall looks useful in many areas of play and they have so many uses. You can put a wall down for when you're getting flustered by enemies and you can put down the smaller wall for extra dps. Ducking being the wall allows you to instant reload and gives you some good cover. The warlock rift can heal you very fast and help in tight situations. They can also set it to give you extra weapon damage which no one complains about.

Grenades are always useful against mobs/ads. Don't know what game you are playing.... According to you then no one throws grenades at the ads during the Vosik encounter. While the other two class abilities sound more useful in PvE and in general, I will wait and see how the hunter plays in endgame activities. Fast reload for all friends and allies nearby already sounds just as good as a class ability to me. Also, in games like Destiny not all classes HAVE to be a support thing. Hunter was always more about DPS on dingle targets than a support class or crowd control. And btw, we have no info about the third sub class for each class in D2. There could be a chance that Hunters will get their Nightstalker back (in a DLC or so).
