I have to agree. I can't understand why people get hyped for something that was literally taken away from them and then returned. This has to have something to do with adiction, right?

All of the exotics are different from their year 1 versions, & Bungie didn't have to make newer versions of them for year 2 & 3 content to begin with. Positive reinforcement is also a good way to continue desired results.
