Giving bungie praise for bringing back Icebreaker.
Oksy so I want to start this off by saying I'm not trying to be negative.
I'm not saying you can't be excited or hyped. Your opinion is yours.
But I find it mind blowing that people are excited to get back something that was essentially taken away. How can you be like, "I know you took something from, but man am I excited to get it back practically 2 years later."
Not to mention this gun has been nerfed to hell and back.
I dunno, I just don't get it. It's the same shit all over again when they gave us Mida and some other exotics last December.
I feel like this mentality is why bungie shits down our throats because they know they can get away with making poor decisions like this.
That's just my opinion. Doesn't make sense to me. Oh well.

2 RespuestasAsset management for these festivals is probably handed off to senior artists that can quickly edit the original assets and can return to their assignments regarding the next standalone title. It could also be that information shows minimal use of new exotics, and with the often negative response to new items the release manager didn't feel the need to ok time for creating new assets for the current application. Then there is also the size of the live team, which is a basic support team that probably gets a few extras, if others complete prior to their set deadlines. Or senior members that can juggle more then one project in the given time. My personal thoughts on it are that reusing assets is fine. It's the logical thing for the studio to do in terms of cost efficiency for the studio and also memory management for the application.

2 RespuestasYup it's sad. People are actually more excited for ice breaker coming back than anything new. Doesn't take much to make sheep happy. No wonder bungie has made some horrible decisions, because it doesn't matter bring back a gun and people are happy again.

1 RespuestaIm glad its back. They didnt exactly steal the gun from us, but back when y2 started we all knew that the game and community had to move on. The reason its so big is that we pretty much never thought it would come back, but its here with ornaments and higher light. I approve of this event heavily and support bungie for it

3 RespuestasNone of us were ever entitled to having icebreaker in the first place. Things change, and ice breaker went away for while, but now it's coming back, so I get to relive some of my year one memories. There is nothing wrong with that.
