They really need to sit down and give all primary weapons the same time to kill if you land all the bullets. So this would make almost every gun viable options to everyone. So you can find what you like and use it. But that's my opinion. And all magazine sizes should be able to kill two maybe three opponents. But that's just me. Then maybe just maybe there wouldn't be all this buff and nerfs going on

No. Distance and damage fall off need to be looked at and adjusted. Not everything needs to be the same. The major complaints are shotguns and hand cannons. A fast fire pulse should beat a hand cannon from any distance other than in the same room, and vice versa.

that's why there are ranges on the guns they will have their own damage fall off. According to the range shows the damage fall off. Then if the guns do the same amount of damage except for luck in the chamber and headshots. Then people can't complain about guns being the meta or not or nerf this buff that.

Then why not take all but the mida, TLW, Hawksaw, and Doctrine out of the game. if everything is the same then no need for more than 1 gun of each type. I think your missing the point I'm trying to make. Uniqueness is the life blood of the game. We only care about loot because it COULD be good. If everything is the same, why would we even grind for gear?

I'm not missing your point. What's the point of grinding for people to take the same exact same guns in the crucible? The same damage output and time to kill won't take away any uniqueness of the game. The perks on guns will give you all the uniqueness you need. I didn't say take out the perks nor was I implying that.

The perks are the only thing that should change the time to kill and damage output like crowd control and luck in the chamber for example

Crowd control does help, sateriene rapier with it allows 3 shot head shots with a pretty good rof

Nothing should beat up close combat in primaries like hand can is and high RoF auto rifles but I mean that with primary against primary. Not saying it should beat shotguns or sidearms. That's a whole other concept

Yes I am. In close combat do you think a scout rifle is going to hit all shots like a auto rifle will or as easily as a hand cannon will?

yes. probably even more due to the way gun stability is in this game.
