• Quests - a way to redefine the grind. Kiosks - I'm indifferent about these. Infusion - We had max light weapons AND ascension in Year 1. This was better than infusion. New Raid - We had TWO relevant raids in Year 1. Patrol - We always had patrol. The new patrol types are "meh" at best. Rift - This is okay. Loads More Exotics - We've also had several taken away and not to return until RoI, if at all. Many of the new exotics are terrible. New Strikes - We've also had several taken away and not to return until RoI, if at all. Lore - Bungie doesn't get any credit for this. This is continuing a story into expansion packs, it's a given we'd learn more about the lore. Sparrow Racing League - This was actually enjoyable for me. Festival of the Lost - A social event designed to generate silver and placate those asking for content. There's more: Crimson Duos - An event created to placate those begging for a 320 ghost because Bungie screwed up the drop rates. Challenge Modes - Created to placate those begging for 320 gear because Bungie screwed up the drop rates. Emotes/Sparrows/Sterling Treasure - Created to generate revenue under the guise of, "Hey, look, we're letting you have some customization." Even many of the things that Bungie did right in Year 2 can be viewed as quality of life changes that should have been implemented long before TTK came out.

 • What you are doing is the same as if bungie said they were going to buff something and then you getting into a rant about the thing to being buffed , you are making a problem which will be resolved soon you are wasting your time

 •
What you are doing is the same as if bungie said they were going to buff something and then you getting into a rant about the thing to being buffed , you are making a problem which will be resolved soon you are wasting your time
I think you're confused. I've never complained about buffs. I want everything buffed. You are also in no capacity to tell me or anyone else that they are wasting their time. People who seek change are never wasting their time by pointing out the inadequacies in something they care about. Just what do you think is going to be resolved? Are they bringing back everything that made obsolete? Are they creating quality of life changes to help ease the grind? Tell me, because you clearly have all the answers.

 • The buff thing was a metaphor I don't think you got it but anyway I encourage critics and for people to speak out because it makes the game better for everyone but what everyone loves to do it's necessarily critics it's just whining , I understood if it was like "this is underpowered" and such but this progresses nothing , it's just petty reasons to hate the game and the majority of these people flocked to the bandwagon of hating on destiny in year one but now all of a sudden they love it and it was way better than what we have now

You understand that just because someone complains about something doesn't mean they hate it, right? People who complained about Year 1 but are not loving Year 1...it's entirely possible that they feel that Bungie took a step backwards in Year 2 and they are now realizing how much better things used to be. Surely you see that possibility.

 • I still see a lot of people finding things to exploit , and I don't mean the people trying to make the game better I just mean the people who are finding problems for the sake of it , and I will reevaluate what I meant , when people are complaining about something which isn't fixed when they know it's going to be fixed , it's like if bungie released a patch notes which was scheduled soon for a Nerf to the last word with a range Nerf and then some one goes to the forums writing about why the last words range isn't nerfed , it's people complaining about what will probably be fixed , and everyone loves reforming but think of it nowadays with certain meta's being able to get God rolls would be too easy and would make it quite unfair given how much luck is involved when now you have to do something to earn it

 • Firstly, you have no idea what will be fixed so bitching about people who complain about something is silly. This is compounded when you take into account the things that people have been complaining about since very early on that Bungie still hasn't addressed, i.e. Firefly crashing games. Secondly, your concern about other people having "God rolls" is ridiculous and your statement about things being "unfair" is childish. This is a game where a player can bring in their own weapons into PvP. No vanilla loadouts. Their own weapons. This is a weapons system designed around dozens of perks and hundred of different combinations of perks. There is literally no way in hell this game will ever be "fair," there are just too many different perks and combination of perks for this to be possible. The call for "fairness" has left us with weapons that are lame and unmemorable. PvE has taken the brunt of this bullshit crusade for "balance." The PvP players crying for nerfs are pansy ass children who would rather see someone else fix the problem instead of taking some accountability. As much as I enjoy this game, and I do REALLY enjoy this game, there is not a snowballs chance in hell that I will sit by quietly while Bungie and the nerfherders make my experience less enjoyable. The moment I do that is the same moment I move on completely to a new game. No, what you're advocating is to maintain the status quo unless it's in the name of "balance." Screw balance. I used to advocate for PvP players having something they could enjoy. The nerfherds have ruined that. No single game mode should incur changes due to any other game mode. PvP is ruining PvE.

 • Just because we got new stuff doesn't mean it was all good stuff. I did like a lot of improvements in TTK, but they also removed a lot of things that really dampened the experience for me. They added infusion, but removed ascension, they added new strikes but also left old ones out, they added more exotics, but also left a lot of favorites behind. They also completely removed reforging, elemental primaries, and nearly all year 1 gear and weapons that players put countless hours into getting. Infusion only got good in the April update, I do like that quests are a thing, and kiosks was probably the best decision they've made in a long time. But HoW expansion and all of it's features was the high point, if they kept or even tweaked a lot of those features and kept them in TTK, the game would be far better.

 • Ya, but the fact is they never should have been taken out in the first place. It's a bit pointless to remove something and make players wait an entire year for it.

 • I'm annoyed because they took away features and gear from the game for an entire year that weren't broken in the first place. Breaking something or removing something and adding/fixing it later doesn't absolve them of wrong doing, they still screwed up. Taking an entire year to fix some of their mistakes is a hell of a timeframe to make your loyal players wait.
