You didn't "earn" anything in this game. RNG gave it to you. And you should know the answer to your very stupid question. You starving for attention? Need a hug?

It may have been RNG, but the principle is the same.
-
So, everything we acquire is what?
-
Everything we acquire is called luck. You get lucky to get a drop sometimes. Take crucible for an example-how many times has the top player received a reward? Not many. So there is the perfect example of how we don't "earn" anything in this game.
-
Yeah, The RNG can be considered that. But the process that you go through is not. So that leaves your opinion debatable.
-
And yes I need a hug, but only if you are a creepy dude that plays as a chick.
-
I'm a man but the fact that when I look at my in-game character I prefer to see a bad-ass, agile looking woman doesn't make me a creep any more than the fact that you wanting to stare at a barrel-chested slab of space-beef whose various pieces of gear, especially 'lock robes, don't fit nearly as well makes you a creep.
-
It was a joke and I am sorry if I offended you or made you feel uncomfortable. I like to relate myself to my character, that's why I chose to play a guy. If you prefer to look at a girl, that's completely fine and understandable. It was wrong of me to make fun of you for that. Again, I am sorry and please don't let my senseless comment cause you any more harm.
-
Ok, maybe you are a creep.

Look at my number of raid completions, hours played, and achievements. What did I need to do to earn a gally in your eyes? I think beating the end game content over and over again earned me the best weapons in year 1 multiple times. What I need is for little fanboys like yourself to stop handing cash over to bungie so they quit screwing the rest of us.
-
I have done way more things in this game than you have. Way more raid completions. And I didn't "earn" anything. It's called RNG. It's up to randomness to give you a reward. So quit your elitist attitude and stop saying you earned anything. And I'm not a fanboy. I play a video game just like you do. So if you think I'm a fanboy, what does that make you???
-
Also way more things=PvP that I enjoy playing.
-
Thinking that paying money for a game, beating that game numerous times, and not feeling that you earned all the weapons in the game makes you a fanboy. RNG is broken when you get the same gear over and over again, when items and ships don't drop for months, when exotics shown in trailers don't show up in the game. I paid for an expansion, beat the game countless times, and still only get rewarded with worse weapons than I had before. On top of that other items were locked behind a timegate known as the April expansion. Now Bungie wants me to buy another expansion to get a year one weapon back. They want me to pay for a weapon that I paid for when I bought vanilla Destiny. Do you see the problem? Let's not bring up the missing raid from the HoW expansion I paid for already either. The fact that the game uses RNG does not mean that players don't earn the gear they have. You have to actually look into how much a player has done in the game to see if the earned what they have. Please look up the definition of elitist, you're using it completely wrong. I'm not saying I deserve the gally for no reason. I paid for it already and completed the game to get it on year 1. Also it might be more fruitful for you to actual talk to a person with a little respect instead of insulting them.
-
Well I wasn't being disrespectful. You were calling me a fanboy which is disrespectful. And you are complaining about Destiny which doesn't make sense. If you don't like the game or how much money you have spent on it, stop playing it and don't buy any more expansions. Pretty simple. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by making a post bitching about the Gally but whatever makes you happy.
-
Saying I have an elitist attitude when I'm asking why I have to pay money for the same weapon I already earned is disrespectful. You came to my post and started talking down to me like you were some kind of superior intellectual tasked with defending this game. Let me explain how every white knight protecting the fair Bungie's virtue goes... I mention how Bungie is recycling content. You tell me how I don't deserve to have any weapon or whatever content I paid for because RNG is random so it's all based on luck. I explain that the loot can't be random when it's always the same, there are timegates, and missing items that were shown in trailers for past expansions. You ignore my logical argument and ask why I bother playing or posting if I don't like the game. I tell you it's to make the game better and here were are. Please though continue on o crusader of Bungie. You sound like the adopted love child of Luke Smith and Deej. So full of yourself and willing to say anything to make the game seem like less of a scam.
-
Well I hate to break it to you but I never once have defended Bungie. Not one time in my posts did I support or defend what they do. My issue is that people like you constantly complain about a video game. A video game that you and I and a lot of other people have put a lot of hours into. And yet you are going to complain about how you have to pay to get the same weapons and blah blah blah. Let me reiterate that I am not defending Bungie. I'm just stating that it's a video game and you have a choice-pay the money or don't. It's not that much money. You act like you have paid thousands of dollars for this game. And yes I did come to your post and comment but you are the one who posted something so trivial that I had to respond. And one more thing-I have never defended what Bungie does. I don't like it much either but I enjoy the game so it's worth the money to keep playing it.
-
I hope to make people realize the crap Bungie is pulling. Believe it or not when you care about something you actually try to make it better.
