How. How are you not getting this
merely that you could easily be prepared for doing so when it became a necessity.
This is the whole problem! It's not a necessity! All in the original post! Reading comprehension!

  • But it is a necessity if you want to continue to enjoy console gaming. More and more games are ceasing support for old gen. It's a pointless conversation at the end of the day, you are the proverbial chess playing pigeon. I have better things to do than try and explain what should be a basic and obvious concept to petulant children who are stuck in the past. Adios dude, have a good one.

  • I once again direct you to the original post: the generation of console gaming is poor. Current gen consoles are so underpowered Sony and Microsoft are scrambling to create new models only 2 1/2 years after launch to stay relevant compared to PC. Game libraries on either side are shockingly shallow. There is little to zero reason to jump into the current console generation, especially not with a Neo/4.5/Scorpio around the corner. Again, all in the OG post. But sure, it's been fun helping you tie your shoelaces Not rly tho

  • If you're foolish enough to believe that these next versions of the ps4/Xbone are really gonna be any different then sure. Reality is - remember when 360 released the slim version for the kinnect? That's the level of difference you'll be looking at. There will be -blam!- all noticeable beyond 4k resolution, big -blam!-ing whoop. The actual processing power etc will remain the same. There will not be a significant change in the level of hardware offered until what 2020 (?) When the next gen comes about. Retard

Weren't you leaving? Did you magically go in the future while you were away where you were able to see what's on the cards? Doesn't sound like you've heard of the Scorpio, sad. Are you really stupid enough to think people won't want the newer model of anything when faced with a choice? Who's the real retard here? Make good on your promise and piss off already. Byeee

  • Yeah, you got me. Your stupidity drew me back in again. You don't have to be a genius to see that these 'upgraded' versions are just a cash grab. Been around long enough to see it happen. Still, enjoy your wilful ignorance and misplaced expectations. Now I really will -blam!- off since I'm getting hungry and your dumb hurts my head

  • God you're so stupid. This is going to be fun. The leaked specs of the Sony "Neo": Original PS4 CPU 8 Jaguar Cores at 1.6 GHz GPU AMD GCN, 18 CUs at 800 MHz Memory 8 GB GDDR5, 176 GB/s "NEO" 8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz Improved AMD GCN, 36 CUs at 911 MHz 8 GB GDDR5, 218 GB/s Meanwhile, Microsoft's Scorpio: - 4 times more powerful than the current Xbox One - expected in 2017 - The performance target Microsoft are aiming for with this console is 6 teraflops (compared to Xbox One's 1.32, Playstation 4's 1.84, Playstation 4.5/Neo's 4.14) - Oculus Rift support Idiot says:
You don't have to be a genius to see that these 'upgraded' versions are just a cash grab.
ROFL What part of having improved specs ACROSS THE BOARD is a "cash grab", you colossally infantile idiot? The difference between the PS4 and the NEO are going to be so great Sony want developers to publish games in two different modes! No really, you really should have got to stepping posts ago like you said because it's clear you absolutely have no clue what you're talking about. I should be charging you money for this schooling about the current state of video games, since you've obviously got your head too far lodged up your own prolapsed ass to know which way is up. My advise to you is that now you've completely exposed your balls to the thread like the dimwit you are that you cut your losses and again, make good on buggering off and never drool on my doorstep again, capiche?

  • Not at all, but you've yet to give anything concrete. Come back after e3 when there's more than "leaks" to go off of and I might begin to consider what you have to say. Until then enjoy banging away on your decade old gaming system or whatever it is you do for fun

That's some mighty fine timing, quite humorous in fact however:
House made clear that this isn't a replacement for the current PlayStation 4 hardware, but merely would provide an upgraded experience to games that would largely work on both consoles.
That really says it all, differences will be minor. Eventually I'm sure they'll bring out games that will require more of the high end stuff but I wouldn't expect anything until a good few years down the line. The very fact that both versions will remain on the market for the duration of this gen life cycle just backs that up even further. As stated before, carry on with you misplaced expectations. These new version s are not going to be game changing
