Invite her to something you were already going to do anyway. You're not asking her out, you're giving her the opportunity to join you in an activity you are going to do with or without her.
If she says no make sure you still go do that thing, and have fun. Her loss.
If she says yes, she gets to see you at your happiest. Doing something you enjoy, and are confident in.
