How do you get better at something? Practice.. how do you practice something when it's not easily accessible? You limit raids to fireteams so a majority of players don't get as many opportunities to practice. Make it easier to match up with other players in game and you'll see an improvement in teammates. Just as an example I have been playing since day one. Never touched the TTK raid cause I can't stand LFG or recruitment pages. Did that shit year one and it wasn't worth it in the end. Since everything was made obsolete. Why go through that again? What would be the point? If we had something that made getting into raids easier and doesn't require posting in some forum then I would be all over it. Sorry but setting up a play date for a video game is dumb. I play on my time not anyone else's.

  • Already in one and two others before this. Has not made my experience any better in anyway. All clans are in this game is a secondary friends list.

  • You need to find one that fits bro. Just group hop until you find a good bunch of guys to practice with regularly. 4 months in is a never a good time to find a super active clan as people drop off to take a break. But honestly, get in one or form one yourself before the next big update and everyones looking to group up again. You cant beat playing regularly with the same friends over randoms

  • I have been playing games since Atari tried all systems. Being part of a clan isn't new to me. Keep in mind I have also been playing since day one. They tout clans as being an answer it's not. Just like recruitment, lfg or anything else they are work arounds. Destiny isn't a "clan" game. A clan in Destiny is just another friends list to look through. I beat both raids year one by random tower invites or struggling through recruitment. Getting into end game content shouldn't require this much effort. The fact that I need to hunt for a clan or send out invite after invite for friend request after friend request is a problem. it's a just video game after all.

If you've played regularly with clans, as i have also mate. Then surely you appreciate the benefits they offer of practicing regularly and beating challenges with the same coordinated group over practicing with randoms? Clans work. Thats why i say find a clan that fits you. Ive always sought out a clan in any team based games, wow, guild wars, destiny etc. And once ive found one where i fit, its usually enriched my experience and improved me as a player. The clan im in now are still active, we have a 150 strong line chat room where we all communicate, share info, promote each others streams. Its great. And they dont just play destiny, they play bo3, mmos, gta, whatever. So we can meet up there too. All im saying is, keep your mind open. Theres always the right group for you out there man. Destiny was intended as a social game, and ive been fortunate enough to gain access to that via clans. You can too.

See all that stuff you listed? Absolutely 0 interest on my part. I play games for fun after my day is done. I want to be able to turn on my system play a few games then turn it off and go to bed. My social life is spent outside in the real world. Not on Facebook, Twitter or an internet forum. Hell I wouldn't be here if it wasn't necessary for the game. I can have just a good time playing with random ppl as I do with some random clan mate. Considering every game before this had a system in game. So I am already predisposed to being able to work with random players. Over 30 years of video games. VoG, Crota, Nightfall, All levels of Court of Oryx, all exotic swords, chaperone.. all completed by me with little effort. All with random ppl. Never had a problem on one.

Ok. But you were originally asking how your meant to practice the raid with people in the comment i originally responded to. My answer was clans are the best option. But it appears now based on your comments its your attitude thats probably the reason you have trouble with endgame content. And probably why you never managed to kill skolas and have only 0 kings fall completions. If you want to practice and beat endgame, group up or clan up. If you dont then dont. But dont whine that you have no way to practice if your simply not interested in trying. Maybe destinys the wrong game for you sir.

  • If you cant see that the lack of players ability to connect easily in game is part of the reason why so few have no raid experience then I don't know what to tell you. Just because someone doesn't agree with you or provides counter points shouldn't turn you into a douche. Unless you know that some of what I said does hold water.

  • None of it holds water. The time you have spent talking to me on the bungie forums is the same time you could have spent making a post asking for a chill team to go practice the raid. The fact you can use the forums as theyre intended shows that you have the same cappabilities as i do to form a group or join a clan. Its a multiplayer game, you posed a question asking how you're meant to practice something not inmediately accesible. My response is the same as what i myself had to do. Search out likeminded players and go get it done. If not, dont. But dont make out you dont have the same options as the rest of us. Making friends in a multiplayer game is worth doing if your concerned with endgame. If not, lone wolf it.

  • Well the games kinda been out 4 months and theres new games out to play. Most of the good clans are on a break now. But at the start of a new dlc, clans are the best way to get in and get regular raid practice, as its a new experience at the time and your all learning + wiping together.

People know who the decent raiding clans are from the recruitment section. Theres usually plenty to choose from. And if not , destiny put a clan on community focus every once in a while thats a good option. Also ive noticed before new raids etc drop, some clans usually start recruiting early to get raid teams ready. Failling that, its easy to set up your own clan and team and get practice. Essentialy, you only need 5 other likeminded people and yourself to form a clan and practice regularly. The tools to assemble that team are accessible to all. Some people use them well and succeed, others dont. But clans are whats worked since day 1 for me and my buddies.
