Weapons like the Eyasluna drop so rarely, and it is more unlikely than likely that you will get the ideal perks even if the weapons do drop. In that sense, the grind is unreal! The randomness of drops can make this game the most grind heavy game ever!

IMO, reforge is a must so you can make the most out of those drops...

I know it. I'm week to week with this game. I'm curious to see what Bungie's new use for Etheric Light will be, though my guess is to exchange it for more motes or instantly unlock all perks on weapons/armor. However, I remain somewhat hopeful that they will reverse their stance on elemental primaries and allow us to use Etheric light and burn nodes bought from the gun smith to add burns.

My guess etheric light will be used for leveling queen faction.

I've been blessed by Rngeesus and actually had one drop with hammer forged and hidden hand, it's a ridiculous headshot machine.
