I'm trying to decide which console to get, I'm on PS3 right now and I do value sticking with the same platform.
Sony seems behind on a couple of key points though, like backwards compatibility and maybe no mods for Fallout.
What would you advise someone as far as systems?

If you like the family you're on then it's probably best to stick with it. I've got both a ps4 and Xbone and like them both.

Editado por merlinsteele: 7/29/2015 1:05:13 PMAs some people have said, PS3 had negatives compared to the Xbox 360, can't remember what they were, but these shouldn't be the same with Xbox One compared to PS4. So I'm hoping the experience will be just as good. If I were curious about mods, I'd be tempted to get an Xbox One, since it will be awhile later when they come to PS4. I will probably enjoy vanilla FO4 just fine. I mainly got a PS4 for the exclusives like No Man's Sky, but one negative thing about the PS4, the middle "pad" is too close to the select button imo. I'm getting used to it, but it took awhile. If I had the extra money, I'd buy an Xbox One, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Edit: I would check exclusives on both, and pick which console has the more interesting games to you. Jmo.
