Fallout 4: Xbox One or PS4?
I ask because I played FO3 and New Vegas on both Xbox 360 and later, because I got a PS3 for their exclusives, also on the PS3.
They were much better on the Xbox 360, but I've heard there are reasons for this that will not relate to Xbox One and PS4.
I sure hope not, because I bought a PS4 awhile back, and I hope FO4 runs good on it. It sure seems like Bethesda is leaning towards Xbox with the mods though, so I'm a bit worried. Thoughts?

Mods, dude. But if you have good PC, then PC. While Xbox will be supporting a selection of mods, I can only imagine some that the Xbox can't handle will never see adoption on that console. Cuz' it can't handle it. And stuff.

5 RespuestasBethesda has said that mod support is coming to the PS4 at a later date. Graphically, Bethesda has confirmed both PS4 and the One will run at 1080p/30 FPS. From what I've seen, there has been no talk of timed exclusivity of DLC. At this point, the only real questions you need to ask are, "How soon do I want mods?" and "Which controller do I prefer?"

It all depends on if you have the patience to wait a bit longer for mods than xboxers. Other than that, it'll be identical on both consoles.

2 RespuestasI'm trying to decide which console to get, I'm on PS3 right now and I do value sticking with the same platform. Sony seems behind on a couple of key points though, like backwards compatibility and maybe no mods for Fallout. What would you advise someone as far as systems?

Buy it for the One if you want Mod support. With Windows 10 coming in a few months, Microsoft has guaranteed cross-play between PC and Xbox as one of the core design pillars for W10. Because of that Microsoft is able to allow Mod support for games on LIVE. While everyone (myself included) wants Mod support for every system, it won't happen unless Sony finally realizes that Mod support won't ruin/compromise the integrity of PSN. So basically we're waiting to see if Sony is going to update PSN to allow Mod support for Fallout 4.

2 RespuestasIn the end, base game is all that matters. Don't buy an Xbox One so that you can have mods. If you've been playing console all your life, don't concern yourself with mods.

Gameplay wise, FO4 will be exactly the same whether it's on PS4 or Xbox One. Now Xbox was confirmed to support mods for the game. I think right now the ball is on Sony's side of the court for if the PS4 will support mods.

3 RespuestasPC. Inb4 an Xbox Fanboy/ Sony Pony comes and says that it will be better on their console..... I have both next gen consoles and A PC, so im gonna choose whichever it is best on, and that is PC. Have fun you guys on consoles with your 30-40 second long loading screens.

The only thing I've heard is xbox will be getting mods sooner. Other than that it doesn't matter, it'll be the same.
