Chewing on the mic is definitely not a British only problem. It's a classless douchebag problem and I have heard people from Brazil to England doing it. To me, anything that is not chat related should be muted. Yet we have guys carry phone conversations, wives bitching or just blabbing away, munching on chips and my favorite, the guy who leaves his mic on while wizzing. Below I have posted a complete profile of a "mic chewer".
[u]5 characteristics of a "Mic Chewer"[/u]
1) Doesn't wash his hands after going to the bathroom.
2) Uses a shotgun in every PvP shooter.
3) Always wants you to drag his low ranked character thru Raids and Nightfalls.
4) Whines in the mic every time he gets killed.
5) Wears skinny pants and drinks cucumber water.

What about kids? I actually don't use a mic anymore because I am usually with my 2 year old and he is very loud sometimes. I've never had issues but I think people may just be being nice.
