I have been reluctant to voice complaints or criticism, however, I am hopeful this post will lead to some productive discussion. My concern is that I cannot see the logic behind many of the games "tuning" updates and the tremendous amount of negative feedback that seems to continually be overlooked, or downright ignored by the developers. With the latest update happening this month, I felt like I finally had to voice my concerns, and dissatisfaction with the changes to come. I have reviewed several posts, articles, and comments from gamers with varried preferences/age groups etc. From what I have seen, the decision to change how the weapons preform was driven by statistical analysis of the various weapons popularity, and their respective classes usage/kill ratio in PVP and PVE. That data was used to adjust the weapons attributes witht the intention to persuade gamers to use different weapons, despite the individuals preferences. The only way I can describe this is change, for the sake of change. Why push us to use wepons we don't enjoy using and may not play as well to our individual strengths? I simply cannot see the reason for, or benefit of this change other than, as i previously stated, change for the sake of change. I realize that despite the frustration we have all experienced, this is a work in progress and changes will be made. With that in mind, the obvious expectations involved practical changes that would be put in place only after carefully considering gamer's concernes, suggestions, and general feedback. Following this approach, the implementation would be based on what would be best for the gamer, not just for the developers. Again, this seemed like a logical solution, and one that would take an already great game with tons of potential, and include gamer inspired improvements, (emphasis on improvements) to make it a one of a kind, amazing, immersive, and unforgettable gaming experience. Most people understand that it is impossible to cater to every individual, however, I truly believe if done gradually and with the gamer in mind, Destiny could continue to grow inro something that surpasses expectations.

  • Bungie you are a bunch of morons. Quit trying to fix what isn't broken. Keep changing your game and people are going to get sick of it and play something else!
