I was so angry after the letter from Harold Ryan showed up on the home page, i practically turned into a maniac. The only thing u did was explain why it didn't happen and why Harold Ryan is President. All I want to know is who will benefiting from holding this back, is it us, or Microsoft. i agree rember how sh*itty halo looked at E3? take your time and well all be ready for it better to realese a good showing than a half ast 1 i was lookin forward to it but i love u guys still keep up the stellar work u guys r the only company who can pull a annoucement and still get this much fan support i actually have tears in my eyes on how proud i am of being a 7th colum meber a halo fan a bungie fan boy, a 360 owner and how there hasnt been this huge ultra nerdy fan boy back lash for all my fellow 7th colum members i am very proud all u who bash stay away from the greastest game dev in the world site [Edited on 07.16.2008 10:43 PM PDT]

I know I'm just grinding the dirt further in the wound, but the Bungie logo at the top of the page still flickers every 49 seconds. You guys should probably take it off to ease possible superstitions...or leave it up to serve as a monument to the Super Intendant.

Don Mattrick is a poopy, and he said that bungie is releasing a new game :O

i didn't even realize bungie was releasing something else. but if this has multiplayer please don't make everthing quite as even as halo 3 cause its too easy for people to do good on halo 3. its fun to have to practice something to be good at it. i liked that halo 2 took a little more skill to compete

I hope you guys at Bungie aren't taking it too bad, it must suck to put in all that hard work and not have anything to show for it at the end. Watching the Halo 2 extra disc, you guys put in a lot of effort into debuting the single player level in Halo 2 (Yes i know it never made in the game the way it was, but watching the video; you guys spent a lot of time on that) I can only imagine how much time you spent getting ready to debut this new game. However Microsoft isn't completely at fault. I don't want to sound like a Microsoft fanboy, but even without you guys revealing your game, they still did a better job at the conference than Sony and Nintendo did. I just hope theres no resentment here, cause i would really hate to lose the Bungie Xbox exclusive games. We already seen what one Big developer can do when they decide to go Multiplatform However it appears as if you when guys do get the OK to announce your game, its going to be like fire (pure hotness) Till then, the FFXIII announcement should hold off most people. So whats down the road? More imporantly, how long is the so called road?

First and foremost i am a gamer. I love games and we are now in an amazing era of games. We all have our favorite games and companies, call us fanboys if you will (i mean hey, its now in the dictionary!) So when a top studio on your list of fan-ness (next years word. meaning: of or to be part of a list of ones favorites) hints at some info in this secrecy ridden industry, you perk up. Especially when there is a countdown, and a mystery. Who are you little face with plunger!? WHO ARE YOU!? Speaking of whos....and whos ares of you..... Who does microsoft think they are? Apparently nobody informed them that Bungie/Halo is the MAIN reason that xbox is anywhere on the map. Original xbox had an overall a rather lackluster software library compared to the PS2. But what sold them? Halo1. Hey, lets look at Xbox live. Pay to play online? wtf! you can do that for free on PC. Who made this actually seem worth it while innovating the console online space? Halo 2. All the features they masterfully integrated into halo2 became STANDARD to the overpriced xbox live experience. (we are talking amazing features Sony still doesnt have down) I love how one of the richest companies in the world has to swindle and haggle its way into other's business. If bungie wants free maps, let em give em out for free. Dont make them or everybody else suffer because you cant get people to spend crappy microsoft points on your inflated lil marketplace. All we have to do is listen to bungie's last podcast to get a minds eye into the workings of microsoft. Bungie must resort to bartering to get a map free out for the fans. Point is, this microsoft bungie relationship is as pathetic as Disney trying to con Pixar over the whole 5 IPs vs. 5 movies debate. Pixar fueled disney ever since its first feature as has bungie to microsoft. So rather than praise and reward, they swindle and twist. If bungie wants to announce/show something. They should be able to announce/show something. Multiplatform? omgah big deal, go cry microsoft, maybe you should build up your library with titles you are confident enough in to compete with. Want to showcase other games more? Uh.....we do need something to play while we wait for bungies next game....wow us.... Then some dweeboid at microsoft, Don Mattrick, SPILLS THE BEANS THEY THEMSELVES CANCELED? This whole situation is just extremely weird, awkward and frustrating. The only things that can satisfy this strange feeling of emptyness are (besides venting my frustration through this lame thread post) 1. Getting an answer as to WHY!? or 2. Just getting the announcement. Anyway, this is mainly a vent. For all we know there may actually be some legitimate reason for all this. Maybe microsoft found some legal department issue with somethin and they just couldnt show said product. Either way, I do feel i have some valid points that microsoft should listen to, but whatever. They are probably too busy trying to fix Vista. ZIIIIIIIING! Maybe somebody should get at microsofts chops and tell them how to get stuff done. If you read, thanks, maybe you agree, maybe you dont, but hopefully you were entertained.

Same, I was hoping it was just a ruse to really surprise us when they did announce something. I hope we dont have to wait untill next E3.
