AAAAAAAAA - old
If I were able to reach it, I'd show you a picture of my CD and Record collection from concerts. Do you count Church raves and concerts too? -
Been to a few. I've seen: Metallica 10 Years Blink 182 Taking Back Sunday Mudvayne Trans Siberian Orchestra Shinedown Red Tool and quite a few local bands, and bands I don't remember because they opened for ones I went for. Also got a guitar pick from Metallica that they used at the concert.
-
I went to a green day concert.
-
Not even going to make a list. Summer season is festival season
-
Just saw Distant Worlds, been to Satriani shows, Linkin Park, Staind, and Metallica. Gotta make it a point to see Linkin Park again!

-
2 RepliesJust noticed PanterA and Megadeth are on your list. That's pretty awesome. When was this and who was on guitar?

I really want to go see either Streetlight Manifesto, Toh Kay, or Reel Big Fish. I honestly haven't been to any concerts yet, but I will go one day.

1 ReplyConcerts = tickets bought ahead of time it at the door through ticketmaster, Brown paper tickets, etc. Shows = Mostly local acts, no pre-sales, cheap door or no door charge. That being said: Shows: More than I could possibly remember. Between working in a venue that held shows and playing in a band and going to shows for 20 years there's no way I could list or remember them all. Here's a small list of my most memorable shows:
Korn (yes I saw them at the Seaman's Club in Seattle before they got HUGE and it was pretty awesome.) The Investigators North American Bison Shifter Neon Brown The Resets Kled Brian Kenny Fresno Mudhoney Lesbian The Accüsed Baby Gramps The Here And many more that I can't recall as I have had 10 too many beers...
Concerts I think I can remember a bit more, but still not a comprehensive list:
NOFX x2 Propagandhi Neurosis x9 Grimple Pennywise Strung Out The Offspring Face to Face TV On the Radio Menomena Helio Sequence Yacht Red Sparrows Russian Circles White Zombie (met them, they're awesome) Lagwagon Guttermouth x2 Pixies Silversun Pickups Boris The Thermals Arcade Fire Fat Lip Cypress Hill Wycleff Jean Public Enemy Reel Big Fish Filter The Decemberists Dragonforce Powerglove MC Frontalot x? MC Chris Floater The Queers x3 Helms Alee The Weakerthans MGMT Social Distortion (they sucked old balls) Yo La Tengo Gang Starr The Roots Bjork
There's tons more that I can't remember, but too much beer has clouded the old memory. Solid post DTL. Cheers!

Want to go to Carolina rebellion but no friends like that music sooo.
-
1 ReplyAcid Bath, that's a good way to start a list.
-
1 ReplyEver shut the -blam!- up?

I don't like the word concert, just can't put my finger on it as to why, prefer to call it a performance. OT: I've been to the following: In 2000 Sisqó performed at a showground near Luna Park in Sydney for free (can't remember the name of the location, I was only 7 at the time, my uncle took me) Rock The Block 2007 at the Olympic Park, featuring: * Akon * The Game * Pitbull * Sisqó * Naughty By Nature In 2011 I watched Sisqó perform again at Acer Arena for his Last Dragon tour. In 2013 I went to watch 112 perform at Homebar, Darling Harbour for their World Tour.
-
Most memorable to date is Summer Slaughter 2013.
-
Yeah I go to see local bands when they are around. If i can afford it at the time I try to go to some bigger ones. I've played a few shows in some bars myself as well.
-
I regret not seeing Roger Waters when I had the chance. That said, I'm glad to have gone to Groovin' the Moo in 2013 and seeing Alpine, Tame Impala, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Flume and Midnight Juggernauts. I'm also a big fan of seeing local acts in different towns.

Standing against the barriers 6 ft from stage at the quicken loans arena for Metallica!!

3 RepliesOh man. I've been to so many festivals that I can't even count, or list off all of the bands I've seen, off the top of my head. Aside from music festivals, I've seen Tool and Chevelle. Personal concerts? That 1 Guy. My favorites were Tool and That 1 Guy but local music is where it's at. Supports your local music, Folks!
