Well I have come across this problem loads but it has always been Americans, now this isn't a hate on Americans post or my ignoring the fact the OP is in fact Canadian, I am merely stating what my experience has been. I am scottish but the time I tend to raid is after 9/10 pm so it tends to be around 5pm eastern time so as a natural consequence it is usually North Americans I raid with. The biggest issues I have with this other than the sheer ignorance of others the muncher displays is the fact no one else says anything about it, it also means that if someone has the time to chew and slurp their way through a bag of Doritos and a coke, they are clearly not concentrating on what they should be doing.
