Then why is it common belief that he died for everyones sins? Why wouldn't God protect his only son? I'm sure you'll probably say "he doesn't get involved with earthly affairs" or something like that, but if that were the case, why would he even send Jesus to earth in the first place?

3 RepliesJesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecy, you know like lived a sinless life which meant not breaking any of those crazy laws. Not a single one. Because He was able to live a perfect life He because the ultimate sacrifice. In Old Testament times they had to sacrifice a clean and pure animal, usually a young lamb to God to cleanse them of their sins. Hence why Jesus is called Lamb of God. God knew we could never live a perfect life thus this why He sent his only begotten Son Jesus (God in the flesh) to have ALL of our sins placed apon Himself. God the Father did not stop Jesus from dying so that we may all be saved. Jesus knew this was going to happen and was willing to do so. So it really did not matter too much who nailed Him to the cross. To answer your question about God getting involved in Eareply affairs you have to trust that God is all around but so is an evil. People are giving a choice to do what God calls for, unfortunately not everyone listens.

Idk ask him

Yeah why would they do that if he was such a good man there may be Jesus but there might not be biblical Jesus

The Biblical God is kind of a dick in the bible.

captain goes down with the ship to save crew Maybe this is an example

2 RepliesJesus is God. It was His will to die on the cross. What sense is there to carry out a plan, only to obstruct it later on?

1 ReplyDamn Italians killing Mexicans. Jesus may be a pendejo, but he didn't deserve it!

1 ReplyRead. The. Bible. And make sure you concentrate!

That's the thing. He didn't save him. That's how he made the sacrifice. The bigger question. If my dad randomly decides that an entire people owe him, why would I die to pay off a debt that he made?

Maybe if you read the bible you'd know...

What is your question? Jesus martyred for us. It's even more ironic that we killed him. Not sure what you're saying

It probably explains in the bible, but I'm too lazy to go check
