As someone who understand technology, what you are saying is almost impossible....
English
-
Then you clearly don't know technology People get banned for stuff like this in games all the time
-
I know for a fact do to people playing other games I have been apart of have been ban for intentionally using lag. Company's have been able to check on some of this for a long time. I'm not an IT person but I know people who have personally been ban from games for this
-
Right. It's all a big lie
-
The thing is, it is. I work in IT. What you are suggesting is virtually impossible to track. You are a liar.
-
Oh look another keyboard warrior that works in IT. Just like every other warrior pulling facts out his ass
-
Bungie can track that. They did during one of the Halo games wen people were farming challenges. They would disconnect at a certain point and get credit without the challenge flagging as complete, allowing them to get credit multiple times. Quite a few people were banned for this offense.
-
I remember ppl being banned and pulled out mid game. Lmao (actually popped up a msg saying so)
-
As I said that's the story I never said they confirmed the why and how, so again believe or don't but you can take your insults and accusations and go -blam!- yourself IT scrub
-
Edited by Endgame77: 2/6/2015 9:58:47 PMIt scrub? What the heck kind of insult is that? lol You came to the forums. You lied. You got called out on it. Don't blame me...
-
And you came to the forums and called a guy out who again doesn't care if you believe and didn't get any confirmation
-
I came to the forums to talk with people about things pertaining to Destiny. Why are you here?
-
As someone who works in IT, do you ever look things up instead of assuming you are always correct? I take it this is the first time you've heard of a lag switch, and guessing you didn't research it, nor have you noticed Bungie has eluded to all the tracking they do. They make changes to the weapons based on numbers...they are looking at trends, and they have thresholds on these numbers that trigger alarms...just like any server/network monitoring system. What do you do in IT that makes you a expert to call someone else a list?
-
A lag switch can be tracked fairly simply when a lag switch is used it spikes the signal on the server through the connection also giving the i.p address a series of breaker codes. <./> or <:.>... so to anyone that says it cant be tracked. Your an idiot
