what's the best way to get the vex gun while playing hard mode vog? Or is there no easier way?

It only drops from Hard Mode Atheon. I personally got one my second hm clear, some people on their first, but a lot of folks cleared it 20+ times before they got one. Just level 3 characters up to 30 and then tag along with a group that has the Atheon's CP 3x every week until you get one.
